Consumer Complaint: What continues to happen is that an old collection from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( which I have no knowledge of ), keeps transferring from agency to agency, who then illegally " re-age '' the debt and place the debt back on my credit report as if it is new. Firstly, the debt, from my recollection, first appeared as much as 7-9 years ago. This alone makes the debt beyond the stature of limitations for collection. This re-aging has occurred before and I had to take steps to have the item removed, only to have it re-appear on XX/XX/20. Previously, the debt appeared under " XXXX XXXX XXXX '', among others. Please take action to notify the company that such re-aging actions are illegal under FCRA, FTC and CFPB laws. This latest instance has lowered my credit scores by nearly 90 points. I receive repeated attempts daily from various area codes but rarely a message is left. This appears to be a {$100.00} debt as reported and these companies are freely and repeatedly violating the laws

Consumer Complaint: The orginal creditor was XXXX XXXX XXXX and because my bill was never the same amount but usage was and I was being overcharged for items I hadn't used I switched my cellphone carrier. I had a bundle also with internet. After getting nowhere with my billing I contacted the FCC who was able to get them to reduce my bill and unlock my equipment. I then began paying my balance owed. I then received a collection notice months later for the initial amount of XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) but I had gotten it down to XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ) at that time. I was confused about who to pay at that point, I called and spoke with various people who either claimed not to be able to pull the account information to referring to the person who handled the FCC dispute. She advised she was unable to help because it was now a collections matter. XXXX customer service offered no solutions either but to pay them. The first collection agency XXXX XXXX was notified in writing requesting them to be aware that the balance was incorrect and I was interested in resolving the issue. They never called nor wrote me in the regard they just changed the balance owed to {$250.00}. As of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX removed the item. It is now currently showing as an item under IC System, however, they have never called nor written me in the regard of resolving the issue. Further, I have no information on this company and nothing is showing on my report by way of an address or number to contact them. I also dont feel safe paying them without written correspondence nor a way of knowing that this will close and resolve the matter. I'm also not confident that if I pay them it will result in the matter being closed nor do I know if the item will be passed on to another company!! Its really awful how these companies just sell your information, never try to resolve the issue even when you reach out to them. The consumers are in a bad position because it takes so much to rectify and on multiple accounts. I appreciate your services!

Consumer Complaint: A few months ago I discovered an account on my credit from I C Systems. I reached out to the company immediately because I had never heard from them before and the account according to my credit said it was for a veterinary bill- I don't own any pets. They removed the account but apparently they sold the account to a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX whom also placed the account on my credit without contacting me first. I sent them a letter as well and the unknown account came on my credit while I was in the middle of financing.

Consumer Complaint: I had visited a local ER ( emergency room ) for treatment in late XX/XX/2019. Part of the total bill during that visit was to be paid to the provider who treated me. That provider is represented by XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The total amount to be collected was {$640.00}. Initially, there was no diagnostic code on the bill, to which I contacted the company 2 times in order to get that CPT code. The code was then emailed to me, but never put on the bill. Initially, when I called the first time, the company ( XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) said that they were not allowed to give me the diagnosis code and that in order to get that code, I had to call the hospital to get that information because they were not allowed to give it to me. In essence, they wanted me to pay for something for which no service code was on the bill. After I paid {$50.00} to the bill, I received a statement on XX/XX/19, which reflected the new amount of {$590.00}. After 1 month passed, I then received a collection notice by I.C. System saying that I had the {$590.00} balance owed and that I needed to contact them in order to pay my bill. I was confused because I had just recently paid XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX a total of {$50.00} in XXXX, and just a little over a month later, now my account was suddenly put into collections. It didn't make sense. I called I.C. system, and paid another {$50.00} on the account, making the new balance {$540.00}. However, after I made that payment, I.C. system did not send me a new statement or even an electronic receipt of the payment I had made. It all seems very shady and I'm worried that this just a scam to be honest.

Consumer Complaint: I had XXXX service at my mom 's house on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX. The account number was XXXX. She passed away on XX/XX/XXXX. Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I saw a collection attempt by IC System in my XXXX XXXX credit score report for the sum of {$140.00}. I have never heard of this company, I never owed this amount to anyone, and I've never been notified in any way shape or form about this debt by anyone. I disputed the claim in XXXX through XXXX XXXX 's system and won, the claim was thrown out. Now In XX/XX/XXXX I see the same company ( IC System ) making the same claim for the same amount I don't own on my credit score report. This company appears to be a mob style racket or scam attempting to bully people into paying for debt they don't owe.

Consumer Complaint: " I.c. System, Inc. '' has attempted to collect a debt in the amount of {$520.00}. I do not owe the debt. I never received notification that attempts to collect a debt were going to be made. I discovered the attempt on my credit report. I reached out to the company within 30 days requesting verification of the debt. I informed the company that if they did not immediately cease collection attempts before providing written verification they would be in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. The company did not comply with providing verification, and has made 2 additional attempts to collect on the invalid debt. The company is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act due to continuing attempts to collect without providing written validation.
