Consumer Complaint: In late XX/XX/2019 I received a notification from my credit monitoring service that there was a collection added to my XXXX credit file. I immediately contacted IC systems and paid the medical they were collecting on behalf of XXXX XXXX. The amount owed cleared my account on XX/XX/2019. The collection was removed from my XXXX Credit report as per the agreement with IC system in mid-XX/XX/2019. On XX/XX/XXXX I was alerted that the same item by IC system for the same amount had been re-added to my XXXX credit report 2 days earlier. I immediately contacted IC Systems where a very rude representative ( he was dismissive and did not want to hear what I had to say ) hung up on me. I called back and another lady answered and was kind enough to look at my file and confirm that I had in fact paid and that it was updated back in XX/XX/2019. I had paid the agreed upon amount and they had removed it from my credit report. She advised she would notify her supervisor and her supervisor would call me the next day. The next day came and went and no one from IC systems called me back. I waited and called again on the XX/XX/XXXX. To which no one helped even after 2.5 hours on the phone and over 7 different transfers. I even called XXXX XXXX XXXX which reported that IC systems never told them ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that I had in fact made a payment back in XX/XX/XXXX. I asked the XXXX XXXX XXXX representative to stay on the line and confirm to IC Systems that this was the same date of service and not a duplicate. He stayed on the phone while I was transferred 7 more time and no one would speak to him or I to clarify this situation. Currently my credit score/report are taking a significant hit because these two companies can not get on the same page and report correctly to the Credit Bureau, even after confirming payment. I am at a loss at the lack of customer service with IC Systems staff. I am significantly upset that something I handled so promptly is taking this long to handle. No to mention that ALL of this would have been avoided if XXXX XXXX XXXX would have billed BOTH my insurances for the service they provided, and followed up with the required information my insurance requested from them. So not only did I pay for a collection that I was OVER insured for, but now I am dealing with IC System and their defunct way of damaging my credit report without concern, even after I paid. I hope no one else has to deal with situations like this but I see that this is common practice with these two companies. I ask that my credit report be correctly updated and the collection that was placed on my credit file erroneously be removed.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX Previous letter XX/XX/2019 XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IC System, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX To Whom It May Concern : This letter is being sent to you in response to notices sent to me from your company and more importantly, due to your erroneous reporting to the Credit Bureau { s }, the highly negative impact on my personal credit report. Please be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 { b } that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Please provide me with the following : What the money you say I owe is for : Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe : Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe : Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable : Identify the original creditor : Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account : Show me the you are licensed to collect in my state : Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent or Agent of Service : At this time I will also inform you that if your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the 3 major Credit Bureaus { XXXX, XXXX or XXXX } this action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent, I will not hesitate to bring legal action against you for the following : Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Defamation of Character If your offices are able to provide proper documentation as requested in the following Declaration, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist. Also, during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel for suit. This includes listing any information with a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate, when in fact there is no provided proof that it is accurate. Consumer Complaint: I contacted I C System on XX/XX/2020 to request a debt verification letter and was informed they could not give me one because the said account with a balance of {$3700.00} was in a " Recall Status '' as the original creditor, XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) has recalled the account. So I asked why it was on my credit report as being owned by I C Systems and reported to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, if I C systems can not even take a payment from me? I was told to contact XXXX. I contacted XXXX immediately on XX/XX/2020 as well to request a debt verification letter and I was told I could not get one unless they receive an attorney letter on my behalf because their system has changed. So I asked how I could confirm and make payments towards the account and I was told that I could only get verbal confirmation now and even after the account has been paid in full I can only get verbal confirmation and nothing in writing, but the can take payments and send me email receipts of payments made but nothing written on outstanding and remaining balance even after payment has been made. Getting an attorney is an added burden and I am trying to resolve outstanding old debts not get into new ones. This does not make sense. First of all, how can I make payment without getting a debt verification letter which I believe I am entitled to get. How can I pay the account in full without getting a letter that states the account will be reported as paid in full if the outstanding balance. Also, how can I pay the account in full and not be able to get a letter of confirmation that the account has been paid in full. Finally, how can I C System be reporting a debt that they can not legally take payments for. Doesn't a customer have the right to receive a debt verification letter before making payments without hiring an attorney? Doesn't a customer have a right to know who has the legal right to collect a debt and doesn't a customer have the right to a written agreement that a debt will be reported has paid in full after all payments have been made? The conversations with both companies were recorded by both parties and both parties were informed that the conversations were being recorded. Thank you.

Reporting of the debt is a violation of the FCRA. Section 623 ( a ) ( 2 ), Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ), and Section 623 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( E ). Please provide me with a true and certified copy of the complete audit trail/Certified Final Forensic Internal Audit of said account. Futhermore, in order for IC Systems to validate the debt, please provide verification through audit certification of debt entry in accordance with G.A.A.P., I.F.R.S., in accordance with basel 3 accord and U.N.C.I.T.R.A.L Conventions.

Consumer Complaint: I C Systems collection, is attempting to collect a debt I originally owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had services with XXXX XXXX and they put XXXX XXXX XXXX on as internet service. The service I was getting from XXXX XXXX XXXX was so bad I couldn't keep the internet in a usable fashion. I then called XXXX XXXX and told them to cancel my contract because of poor service on internet. They did so. and cancelled my contract. Plus gave me a {$100.00} gift card for my troubles. This contract was cancelled withing a two week period. Several months went by and I got a collection notice from XXXX XXXX XXXX and I called them and told I had cancelled the contract because of poor internet service. The person from XXXX XXXX XXXX said he would clear the account and apologized. Several more months went then ICS sent notice. I had called them twice and no luck. Plus they did not want to hear my side. Since then I called XXXX XXXX XXXX several times and get promise would be taken care and I am still under collection. I tried all I know to clear this mess up but no luck. Now I am turning to you.
