Consumer Complaint: I SENT IC SYSTEMS A LETTER ON THE XXXX OF XXXX FOR ACCOUNT Re : Acct # XXXX XXXX To Whom It May Concern, This letter is being sent to you in response to my last notice on XX/XX/2021. Be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Please provide me with the following : What the money you say I owe is for ; Explain and show me how you calculated what you say I owe ; Provide me with copies of any papers that show I agreed to pay what you say I owe ; Provide a verification or copy of any judgment if applicable ; Identify the original creditor ; Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state Provide me with your license numbers and Registered Agent At this time, I will also inform you that if your offices have reported invalidated information to any of the 3 major Credit Bureaus ( XXXX XXXX or XXXX ) this action might constitute fraud under both Federal and State Laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found on any of my credit reports by your company or the company that you represent, I will not hesitate in bringing legal action against you for the following : Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act If your offices are able to provide the proper documentation as requested in the following Declaration, I will require at least 30 days to investigate this information and during such time all collection activity must cease and desist. Also during this validation period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with my legal counsel for suit. This includes any listing any information to a credit reporting repository that could be inaccurate or invalidated or verifying an account as accurate when in fact there is no provided proof that it is. If your offices fail to respond to this validation request within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately. I would also like to request, in writing, that your offices make no telephone contact to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS. It would be advisable that you assure that your records are in order before I am forced to take legal action. This is an attempt to correct your records ; any information obtained shall be used for that purpose.

If this is an accurate debt owed, I am not even aware of how to pay the debt as no communications have been sent to me.

Consumer Complaint: When checking my credit score in early XX/XX/XXXX I became aware that since XX/XX/XXXX a {$160.00} debt in my name had been in collection by IC System, on behalf of XXXX XXXX. I had not received any written notification of this debt collection at my current address, where I have lived for 3.5 years. I disputed the collection on my credit report, since it seemed to be a mistake. But when XXXX refused to dismiss the collection from my credit score, I contacted IC System today ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ). IC System confirmed that this amount in collection is a small outstanding cable bill from my previous residence, where I have not lived since XX/XX/XXXX. Obviously I would have paid this amount if it was fairly owed and I was made aware of it. My mail was forwarded for 12 months after my move, and this is the first I have heard of a debt from XXXX XXXX. Unfortunately the damage to my credit will cost me much more than the disputed amount. Despite my current address being publicly available, XXXX XXXX and IC System made no attempt to contact me about the collection at my current address. Thus, for four months, I was completely unaware of the collection attempt and the negative affect it has had on my credit score. Surely, a debt collection agency should be required to contact individuals at their current address when it has been publicly available for many years. It should not be the responsibility of the consumer to do their work for them, and accept demerits to their credit scores in the process. Thank you for your help investigating this issue.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased flooring from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I signed a contract that stated my original total was {$6400.00} but I only had to pay {$5600.00} due to a discount approved by market. I made two deposits on XX/XX/XXXX ( {$580.00} and {$2200.00} ) totaling {$2800.00}. In the special instructions section on page 2 of 14 it stated that I owed {$2800.00} C.O.D. I had two different installation dates. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$1700.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX the customer service representative took my payment over the telephone for {$1300.00}. The next day I got a call stating that they had overcharged me and they were going to fix it and my payment of {$1300.00} would not be processed. Then the day after that I got a call stating that I owe {$1200.00} more. After several calls with an unknown representative I asked for a supervisor. XXXX XXXX called me. XXXX XXXX General Office Associate XXXX. Ms. XXXX stated that I owed {$1200.00} more over the telephone and in an email. I explained to her about the call I received as well as everything else and asked her to send me an itemized bill. Ms. XXXX then sent me an email saying I owed {$1300.00} more, she sent me a bill stating that my total order was {$4000.00} my deposit was {$2200.00} with an allowance ( discount ) of {$470.00} and I owed {$1300.00}. However, the original sales receipt stated my original total was {$6400.00} but I was being charged {$5600.00} which is a {$770.00} discount not {$470.00}. Ms. XXXX also sent an attachment showing my total was {$4000.00} with a deposit of {$2200.00}, discount of {$470.00} and balance of {$1300.00}. I informed Ms. XXXX according to the original call I received and the email that she sent me with an attachment mirroring what was she typed, I had over paid by {$390.00}. I also told her that one of my deposits made on XX/XX/XXXX for {$580.00} was not reflecting her itemized bill. Ms. XXXX never addressed that. After several calls and letters mailed to me Ms. XXXX and I couldnt come to an agreement. XXXX XXXX wanted me to send her my credit card statement but with everything that transpired I did not feel comfortable sharing my personal information with anyone at XXXX. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I received a collection notice for {$1300.00}. This have been a living nightmare and nobody seems to care and now my credit is being jeopardized. Im not sure what my salesman or any other of the workers did with my order.

I have also been trying to get this 3rd party company to take it off my report along with all 3 agencies A third party can not report on your report and all 3 agencies are letting them do it over and over and over again. I WANT THIS STOPPED NOW. I have disputed this till I am sick of it. Legal action is next!!
