Consumer Complaint: I have received a collection notice in the mail and I am disputing the validity of this debt. I have already cleared this confusion in 2018 with proof of receipts from XXXX that shows I turned in the equipment for XXXX XXXX. The return receipts include date, time, XXXX store address, and the equipment numbers for everything I returned. If XXXX lost the equipment, that is their problem not mine. When I contacted XXXX XXXX about this invalid debt two years ago, the customer service rep told me they received the equipment and will update my account. But just recently, I get threatened with a collection notice. Take my account out of collections or I will sue you. By the way, I mailed a certified letter with the return receipts to you yesterday. So I will know when you receive it. And it is attached to this complaint. Don't play games with me. You will lose.

Consumer Complaint: Upon receiving my recent Credit report, I have found information regarding debt that is being claimed against me. I've been working diligently to improve my credit, despite having difficulties with collection agencies in the past. I've done my research on debt collection practices and how to manage my personal finances better. I've been saving for quite some time to pay off my accounts and finally did. This was difficult as the collectors were unwilling to work with me at times. That said I was able to pay off the accounts by starting with a new slate on my credit. The collection agencies in question have not removed the accounts from my credit report yet the rest being damaged because of it. They informed me that they would stop reporting the accounts but haven't.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed in XXXX that a new collection was added to my account and dropped my credit score. I called and was told the debt was from XXXX. I explained that while I had a personal account there were two other accounts that were part of a business that I sold. I asked to verify the debt and they would not and could not provide it. I sent another request for the information via certified mail on XX/XX/2020 and never received a response from the debt collector. I am also filing with the SC Attorney General and the MN Attorney General. I have since paid the debt since I am in the process of buying a house and it was affecting my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to verify a debt claimed to be owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX that is being collected by I.C. Systems, INC. I have sent I.C. Systems, INC multiple certified letters trying to dispute this debt, and I have yet to receive a response for the requested information. I contacted I.C. Systems, INC today in order to get the account number and was told by a representative of I.C. Systems, INC that they are not required to respond to disputes. I additionally have asked I.C. Systems, INC why the debt listed on my credit report is showing an account number that they can not find within their systems at all, but was told that they have no idea why that account number is showing and that they have no idea of how to rectify it.
