Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX provided internet services at my previous address ... XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Mi XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, final payment resolved for the full remaining balance owed on the account for the services rendered, after the home had been sold. Harassing calls and letters from XXXX XXXX followed one month after services were disconnected by me and shortly before the final payment had been made. The company is stating that I owe money for equipment that was used for the duration of the internet services. There is not an existing or past contract that was signed or agreed upon, by me nor any other member of the household for the rental or leasing of the equipment at my home. I paid in full for the services and or any equipment as stated on my monthly bill. I have contacted IC Systems Inc. twice in writing regarding my dispute. I have specifically requested that they produce and submit back to me any signed contractual agreements where it indicates that I understood the equipment was leased, including amounts owed and other pertinent details. I have not received any responses back as of XX/XX/XXXX. To further add injury in my claim against this company, they are now reporting twice as a collection account, through a different company, XXXX XXXX Solution. For the same amount but with a different account number. I feel harassed and bullied by both companies in a retaliatory effort upon ending services. It is heavily affecting moving forward by falsely reporting to the credit bureau and not responding to my request. I need help and some resolve in this matter. I am asking that you demand from both IC Systems, XXXX XXXX and XXXX a proven contactual agreement, in which I am certain they do not have, or they remove both collection accounts from my credit report. I am hoping they will comply with your request. No company should be able to do as they wish in regard to falsely reporting to credit bureaus. I work very hard in keeping my credit payment history in great status and this is the only collection account on my credit report. Falsely reporting is intentionally misrepresenting my payment history which is FRAUDULENT.

Consumer Complaint: IC Systems is reporting an erroneous debt on my credit file. I recently checked my credit and noticed this debt was reporting I however, never received any calls, notices, or letters from IC Systems about this debt. This violates my 30 day right to dispute under the FCRA. This must be removed immediately as you violated my rights as a consumer. I am also aware that while this account is under review you lawfully can not report this on my credit until your investigation is over. If your office continues to report invalidated information to any of the three credit bureaus this action might constitute fraud under both federal and state laws. Due to this fact, if any negative mark is found or continues to report on my credit report by your company I will not hesitate to bringing legal action against you and complain to the Attorney General for the following : Violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act & Defamation of character. During this period, if any action is taken which could be considered detrimental to any of my credit reports, I will consult with legal counsel for suite . All references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I asked for debt validation from I.C. system. The company flagged all three major credit bureaus before sending me any proper documents. The only validation letter I received was an address. My name is common and I have been in many mixed file cases with different social security numbers and identity theft. The alleged account is the result of identity theft/ fraudulent and I did not give anyone permission to open this alleged account in my name. I have a good payment history with all three major credit bureaus and this negative error is affecting my scores and reputation. I understand my rights as a consumer and I would like this problem to be resolved promptly. I am also receiving phone calls repeatedly after I told this company to stop harassing me.
