Consumer Complaint: I've been a loyal customer of XXXX for over a decade. I have never been late in paying my account and am always current. I am still a XXXX customer just to state the facts. XXXX opened an unknown account and there is a small balance of {$150.00} that is opened and has gone to collections due to their error. This small error has affected my credit tremendously and has left a negative mark on my credit report. Please remove this error and fraud account.

Consumer Complaint: I noticed a collection account on my XXXX credit report that does not belong to me. The account name and/or collection agency is I C System Inc. The original creditor is XXXX XXXX account # XXXX. Date opened XX/XX/2021. The collection shows {$310.00} past due as of XX/XX/2021. I have never had an account with XXXX XXXX so I immediately contacted XXXX in an attempt to correct the error directly. XXXX was unable to locate an account for me as I am not a customer. I filed a dispute with XXXX on XX/XX/2021. I received communication from XXXX on XX/XX/2021 advising my dispute had been completed. Unfortunately, XXXX did not remove the collection from my credit report. I then contacted the collection agency, I C System Inc., on XX/XX/2021, to try and get additional information as they are the agency that reported the collection. I C System was also unable to locate me as a customer in their system. The representative searched for me by name, address/state, and social security number ; however, she could not locate a collection and stated it was clear there was an error in reporting. She advised me to contact XXXX again about the issue. I spoke with a representative at XXXX on XX/XX/2021. I went through the entire process again, and advised neither the original creditor nor the collections agency is able to locate me as a customer. He stated I needed to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Bureau which is where I am now. I would like to have this issue resolved as soon as possible as it is negatively affecting my credit score. I do not have alot of information about the actual account and/or collection as I have never had an account with XXXX XXXX. Please contact me if you need additional information.
