Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX, is the relevant date when this matter began when I first called to terminate my service. See the chronology attached below. XXXX XXXX XXXX erroneously continued to charge my account beyond the date service was to be terminated as well as assessing charges for equipment, which was all returned via UPS as instructed. I have spoken to their customer service several time and have ample notes and documentation of those calls extending over they past year and a half. I have also responded to I.C. System on several occasions disputing this balance of {$150.00}. I wrote to both XXXX ( successor to XXXX XXXX ) and I. C. System with full documentation and chronology of this debacle and demanding that this entry to my credit reports be removed. That communication was sent Certified Mail on XX/XX/XXXX. I have attached a copy of that correspondence below. XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice that I.C. System had removed the credit reporting entry, stating that they had, " been unable to verify the information and therefore had requested that any information provided to the credit reporting agencies regarding this account be deleted or removed from their records. '' That response further stated that " the debt will not be re-reported to the credit reporting agencies by I.C. System, Inc. '' XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from I.C. System stating that " XXXX provided the attached information, verifying your responsibility for payment. '' The attachment was a copy of two statement pages from XX/XX/XXXX. However, if you review the attachment, there is no reference to the amount they claim of {$150.00}. This is clearly a cursory gesture by XXXX to justify this error so that I.C. System to continue their illegal collection attempts. Surely, I.C. Systems can not be exonerated from actually reviewing the documents to see that they actually do " prove '' the debt. Which this certainly does not. The consumer and debt collection statutes clearly charge such companies to exercise due diligence in validating the amounts they are attempting to pursue.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted by I.C. Systems, Inc., a debt collection service regarding an unpaid XXXX bill in the amount of {$2300.00} for a XXXX XXXX. I do not know who this person is and is not me and after explaining to I.C. Systems, Inc., this was not me, they said they were aware of this and demanded I pay anyway. I was told I was chosen because they thought I would give in and pay and had good credit even though I was not XXXX XXXX. Further, the bill was not even for a state that I have ever lived in and I have never had a XXXX account. They did not care and threatened me with damaging my credit by notifying the credit bureaus and that they stated they knew they could not sue me as I could prove my identity. All calls stopped after I refused to pay for some other unknown party and they marked my credit report. I tried to dispute but they refuse to remove even knowing that this is not my debt nor anyone I have ever known or met in my life. This is true abuse of their position.

Consumer Complaint: I had internet through XXXX in XXXX, XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX I called and requested that my account be closed. I was informed of the amount owed and instructions for me to return my equipment. I paid my last bill in XX/XX/XXXX and returned the equipment which was a router. In XXXX of XXXX, after no communication, there was a collections placed on my credit report in the amount of {$290.00} in XX/XX/XXXX and a creditor called me. I didn't receive a letter 30 days prior as I had recently moved. I told them I was disputing the account because I returned the equipment in XX/XX/XXXX. They told to call XXXX to dispute it. I did and they opened a ticket to look for the equipment and review notes on the account. I disputed with XXXX and the amount was changed to {$300.00}. XXXX searched for the equipment and found it. They emailed me and called me letting me know but then stated I still owed a bill. They then changed the balance owed to {$98.00} on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX. I have disputed again ; then in XX/XX/XXXX the balance changed to {$84.00}. How is it possible for this collection agency to report XXXX erroneous amounts to my credit report? The equipment was found and my last bill was paid.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I was notified by my credit card company that my credit limit for one of my credit cards was basically cut in half of what I was approved for. In looking at my credit report, there is an account in collections named I.C. SYSTEM, INC who has never attempted to contact me because this debt is not mine. My credit report shows that the original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with a balance of {$1700.00} of which I have never had an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$1700.00}. My understanding is that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is the the wireless carrier side of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have always had XXXX XXXX as my mobile carrier. These charges are NOT mine and I believe that I have been a victim of fraud or identity theft. No one from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX or I.C. SYSTEM, INC has ever tried to contact me to resolve the debt BECAUSE IT IS NOT MINE! I attempted to dispute this account via XXXX and they came back within a day ( after stating that it may take up to 30 ) that the account is mine. This is 100 % completely false!

Consumer Complaint: Hi IC SYSTEMS ; Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. You have 30 days upon receipt of this letter to provide strict proof of contract. In the event you can not provide strict proof of contract, you must cease and desist any and all collection efforts and immediately remove any derogatory information reported to the consumer reporting agencies. In addition, you will need to provide me your agreement, in writing, that you are closing your file, ceasing collecting activity, and deleting all information related to this reference number from any and all credit reports youve furnished the information to. In the event you transfer this account to an attorney without providing proof of contract, and proving your claim, he/she will be immediate reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX for code of ethics violations.
