Consumer Complaint: THRU CREDIT MONITORING SERVICE OF XXXX I WAS NOTIFIED IN XX/XX/2021 THAT A COLLECTION HAD BEEN PLACE AGAINST ME FROM IC SYSTEMS. THE ORIRGINAL CREDITOR WAS XXXX XXXX. I DISPUTED THE ACCOUNT WIT XXXX. THEY SENT INFORMATION TO CREDITOR TO VERIFY THE INFORMATION, CREDITOR AGAIN CONFIRM IT WAS MY ACCOUNT. I CALLED THE CREDITOR PERSONALLY AND THEY CONFIRMED THEY COULD NOT FIND AN ACCOUNT THAT MATCHED ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ; NAME, DOB, LAST 4 OF SSN, ADDRESS, EMAIL. IN FACT THEY CONFIRMED THE ACCOUNT IN REF WAS FOR SOMEONE WITH SIMILAR NAME, BUT LIVED IN NY. I AM IN MD. THE CREDITOR RECOMMENDED I DISPUTE AGAIN. WHICH I DID. XXXX SAID THE CREDITOR CONFIRMED THE ACCOUNT ONCE AGAIN. I CALLED AGAIN, THEY ONCE AGAIN CONFIRMED IT WAS NOT MINE. SO XXXX IS DISPUTING ONCE AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME. I already sent a letter to your company but you did not respond with what I asked for to verify your claims of this alleged debt that I supposedly owe. I was never notified of this collection. I do not believe this debt is accurate. I do not believe this debt is mine. Under the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT, I have the right to request and receive validation of the debt. Therefore, please provide me with a copy of all the following : 1 ) An explanation of what this alleged account balance is for. 2 ) A complete Audit Trail calculation of this balance, including the complete payment history on this account, so I have proof that the amount is correct. 3 ) Documentation that shows I agreed to pay this debt with my signature and documentation that shows I gave you permission to have my information, and paperwork showing I gave you authorization to report this to my credit report. Consumer Complaint: I received a phone call XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX ET from an agent named XXXX XXXX from IC System. I informed her that the phone call was in violation of the FDCPA because I sent a letter disputing the validity of the debt to IC System over a month ago and had not been mailed verification of the debt as required before continuing an attempt to collect the debt. I asked to speak to her supervisor. Even after that information was provided to her, she asked if I am able to clear up this debt today. I reiterated that she should not be attempting to collect on this debt, and asked again for a supervisor. She transferred me to XXXX XXXX, who confirmed that IC System had received my dispute letter prior to the this call. I asked her how we proceed from here, because my rights were clearly violated, and she said she would transfer me to her manager. She transferred me to XXXX XXXX in the Consumer Affairs department. XXXX again confirmed on a recorded call that they had received my dispute letter prior to calling me, and told me I could email my complaint to their consumer affairs department, XXXX. I did so that day, and have followed up twice in the two weeks since, and have not received a reply. I also received a settlement offer letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. It is my belief that this letter was sent as a direct response to IC System 's receipt of my dispute letter, since IC System has only been attempting to collect on this debt for a very short period of time and was offering a 70 % settlement after a single collection letter. My wife happened to be home at the time I was talking to XXXX, overheard the conversation, and now thinks I'm in debt and hiding it from her. I now have to explain why I'm getting collection calls, why this debt exists, and reassure her that this is an anomaly. I haven't missed a payment on anything in decades. I simply do not owe this debt, the full amount of the debt for leased XXXX phones has been paid directly to XXXX when I canceled my service.

I had excellent history of my credit score. yesterday I got bank account alert about my credit Secore has been decreased from XXXX to XXXX XXXX on XXXX. They have sent debit dispute to all three credit agencies, with out my knowledge. This was on my bank credit journey report. " I.C. SYSTEM, INC It looks like your account with I.C. SYSTEM, INC received a major derogatory status. This usually means that no payments have been made to a past-due account for 120 days or longer. " I called I C System XXXX and was connected with XXXX XXXX / XXXX XXXX and I asked her about why the have added my XXXX disputed amount of {$XXXX} on XXXX XXXX. to 3 credit score agencies. They are first collector who have not contacted me. Before them 3 or 4 all have contacted me and I have given them reply. After that no one has contacted me and I thought that this case has been closed. I have not received any letter or phone call from them. She said that she will mail me letter and she also said that I have an offer to settle this for {XXXX According to your website They have to call me which they did not. They have even my email as well in there system and they have not contacted me. What I need your help to please ask them to remove this from all 3 credit score agencies. As to my understanding They have not followed instruction and rules laid down by consumer finance department. CFPB. Your help in this connection will be highly appreciated.
