Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter to IC System on XX/XX/XXXX via certified mail regarding account starting with XXXX, to which they responded that they were not able to locate/verify the account. I sent a letter to XXXX asking them to delete this account from my credit report because it can not be validated and thus being falsely reported. In addition to the failure to validate the debt, IC systems is now reporting that the date of last active is XX/XX/XXXX which is considered re-aging and is illegal. This is not my account and it should be deleted immediately.

I reported it again and the account was deleted on XX/XX/XXXX ( see attached documents ) Now again the account was sold to I.C. SYSTEM that are using fake dates to lift the impact on my credit score. A few days after I.C. SYSTEM reported it for the first time, I reached via phone to dispute it again. Disputed more than 2 months ago. Since then, I'm trying to reach XXXX to follow up on the dispute and I can't get any person to talk with and nothing has been changed.

Consumer Complaint: In response to Complaint # XXXX : If it is to be assumed that I.C. System was given consent to have my identifying information, then according to 15 USC 1692g, you were required by law to communicate with me before a report is furnished. If this is true, please provide the proper documentation such as a tracking number that shows correspondence was sent before furnishing commenced on XX/XX/XXXX. You admitted, " The account information IC System furnished to the credit reporting agencies was provided by the original creditor and has been verified by the credit bureaus ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. ", while omitting the credit reporting agencies used XXXX to verify information through I.C. System on those 6 different occasions. This admission is proof that I.C. System criminally liable as well.

Consumer Complaint: I have been contacted by IC Systems for XXXX XXXX over an old phone bill that was originally {$810.00}. They kept bugging me in spite of the fact that I told them I can not work due to an injury and so in XX/XX/2022, I agreed to pay {$5.00} per month until my sister could help me pay it off. They sent an agreement to me in the form of a PDF file locked with a password to my email agreeing that, " an I.C. System employee, who documented your offer to settle the balance of {$810.00} owed to XXXX XXXX for the reduced amount of {$120.00}. '' I have paid the $ XXXX each month on time via auto pay from my bank. My sister called today to settle up the remainder of the bill and they decided to argue that I now owe the entire {$810.00} again. This is ridiculous and obviously an attempt to go back on the agreed amount, which I have documented proof of in the PDF file. Today is XX/XX/2022 and I would like this matter to be settled at the agreed amount of {$120.00} as my document states, and for this company to stop trying to swindle me out of more money. Thank you for your time. I will attach the PDF, but you can not open it without the password, which I will be happy to give in private.

Consumer Complaint: We had XXXX install our internet in XXXX of 2020 at our XXXX house. They did a terrible job of the installation. They ran the disc by the driveway leaning over, ran the cable over the driveway. The system never worked and within a week, the cable was torn over the driveway and the disc was leaning over. I called the company about fixing it, and I could not get them to respond. I finally just asked them to cancel it because it wasn't working. We NEVER got internet. They told me I would have to pay a {$360.00} cancellation fee. I responded by saying that contracts work both ways and they have a responsibility to fix the service or cancel. The girl suggested I suspend the service which I did. I forgot about the service. We used our hot spot on our phone and the account came out of suspension came in XXXX of XXXX. I asked them at that time to come get their equipment. They refused. They did ask me to mail back on turn in the XXXX box. I think that box got thrown away. We forgot it belonged to that service because it didn't work and disconnected it completely. I took responsibility for the box and said I would pay them the {$300.00} to cover the cost of the box, but I was refusing to pay for service I never received. They continue to send me debt collection and have creditors call me. I have disputed in writing twice and by phone. Once on the phone I offered the {$300.00} to cover the cost of the box because that is what they told me the box cost. They refused the {$300.00} payment. I am standing my ground on principal alone. They didn't provide a service, and I shouldn't be XXXX into paying for something I never received.
