I see that there are 4 additional credit inquiries from GM Financial in the next 2 months that I did not authorize. GM states they did not inquire. The inquiries are dated : XX/XX/2021 XX/XX/2021 ( 2 inquiries on this date, one from XXXX XXXX GM, one from XXXX GM ) XX/XX/2021. I did not authorize these, I was approved based on the correct XX/XX/XXXX credit check.

Consumer Complaint: Between XXXX and XXXX of XXXX I sent a letter to GM Financial in regards to an account being reported on my credit reports. My husband purchased a vehicle with them and was awarded the vehicle in the divorce in XXXX. I attempted to call and write to them asking if there was anyway to remove my name from this account as he had possession of the vehicle and I had all the documented proof. I never received a call back, a letter back, nor have I ever received ANY bills or notices in the mail in regards to this account. They have made ZERO attempts to work with me or keep me informed as to what is going on with this account. At this point in time this debt is too old to remain on my account and I have asked them to request a tradeline deletion since they will not respond to any form of contact I have tried to initiate. When I checked my equifax credit report today there was an update that this account was " paid for less than owed '' and " paid charged off account '' and it is being reported as a zero balance. I am assuming my ex husband has finally paid it off. However, on my transunion credit report it is showing there is still a full balance owed as well as " bad charged off debt ''.

Consumer Complaint: I made a payment using my XXXX card I tried to make a payment that I had noted to be put in, the result came back several times we could not process try again, on about 3rd time it took the payment I suggested and then it took out the entire payment and I lost my entire payday all together GM got XXXX dollars, the payment was only XXXX I tried immediately with XXXX, GM Financial to reverse my over charge, neither will, it's obvious the payment was a duplicate, I have faithfully made my payments to GM and never been late I demand my reversal today, I can not pay my other bills or buy food if they will not I can not or see any reason after GM told them to refund my over payment they will not, this is the 2nd time I have had a problem with XXXX holding a refund when clearly it was a mistake, I never got the other reversal to this day. Please contact XXXX and demand my reversal

I have not given you permission to access my credit profile and you have no permissible purpose by law to contact third parties with my private or personal information. Your offenses amount to Aggravated Identity Theft pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 1028A. You have knowingly transferred, possessed, or used, without lawful authority, a means of identification of me, which is a felony punishable with up to 2 years of imprisonment, in addition to civil liability. Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/2020, I have taken a lease from GM financial and since the day 1 I am having trouble setup autopay. The error message keeps coming, saying invalid lease account number. I have called numerous times with GM, but they seem like they are not fixing it. As a result, every month, I have to pay with their external vendor XXXX XXXX and they are charging late fees with processing fees. Today, I Paid additional {$300.00} for late payments. This is absolutely unacceptable and they do not care to fix this issue on the website. Why should I pay extra {$300.00} late fees? I even tried to setup auto payment, which has been failed. Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint with the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX has returned it as an alleged invalid complaint, see paragraph below for a timeline of events. GM financial has failed to resolved the issue even though XXXX XXXX has accepted 100 % liability. I've attempted endlessly to settle this and can not because GM Financial has the car hostage, my credit now shows a closed account due to a recovery which is absurd considering XXXX XXXX has agreed to pay. It is XXXX and I have been without help and a car since XXXX. GM Financial has refused to help and only gives general information regarding a resolution. This type practice can in no way be in good faith or fair dealings and in my opinion predatory. Due to GM financials failure to act or their unfair acts on multiple occasions has caused me to be here. " On XXXX a vehicle was racing and ran a red light totaling my vehicle. It was subsequently impounded. For about 11 days I attempted to file a claim with the responsible party and could not do so due to the driver providing an incorrect policy number. On the 11th day, I contacted my insurance company to file a claim. On the 12th day we finally were able to get a police report from XXXX XXXX. Through some due diligence on about the 13th day after the accident, XXXX was able to locate the policy using the VIN and XXXX filed a claim on my behalf with XXXX XXXX ( The responsible parties insurance ). On XX/XX/XXXX, GM Financial sent me an email regarding receiving an impound notice. Because the claim was not yet resolved, I did not provide any information to GM until I've had the opportunity to speak with XXXX XXXX. Before I could settle the claim, on XX/XX/XXXX GM Financial took possession of the car without my knowledge. They stated the car was recovered due to them paying the impound bill. I told them XXXX XXXX was going to pay it but they had no explanation for me at all. I've emailed, called, and no one and I mean no one will help me with XXXX XXXX, GM Financial. I can't buy a new car because GM financial has noted my car was a voluntary repossession and closed the account. XXXX XXXX will not speak with me because of GM Financial. My heart is so broken that it seems like everything that could go wrong based off the decisions of the impound, lienholder, insurance companies ... ... .I strongly believe that GM Financial does not want to process any claims under the GAP insurance which is why they have ultimately ignored me. I fully believe that GM Financial has settled with XXXX XXXX received payout, and closed the account to avoid covering the GAP portion I paid for. It is unfair, unethical, and bad dealings. GM has closed the account and noted a voluntary repossession. " Please help me. I really need a car to get to work as I am changing positions.

Consumer Complaint: GM Financial declined payment assistance during Covid-19 pandemic. Predicated any assistance on the payment of a predatory {$89.00} fee. This has caused 4 late payments to show up on my account. They also charged fees for payment assistance during other federal natural disasters. Additionally, what makes matters more frustrating, is that their website was down for payments on multiple occasions. This caused a 30-day late to become a 60-day late for XX/XX/2020. I believe this was done intentionally to cause additional late fees.

Every month Im getting a threat to get my car repossessed by GM Financial. I feel that we are still in a pandemic and people are still struggling financially. Im make a payment each month and they are wanting two payments now in order for me to keep this car. I have less than 2 years to pay it off and I dont want to give it back. There should be something that companies can do to help with situations like this. Its XXXX stressful and causes XXXX and XXXX.
