Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX sold us a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX We had informed them that we would finance it with them and refinance the next day with our credit union, due to them being closed for the day. We were told that was no problem. Fast forward to the finance office, everything is complete and signed at 7.79APR for 72 months. After we were leaving they told us we can not refinance for 3 months, which was not at all what we were planning on doing. We knew we could get approved at our local credit union around 3 %. After the 3 months the interests rates went so high it didnt make sense to do a credit inquiry for a refinance. 5 months after the purchase we were told by another dealerships finance manager that used to work at XXXX, that he was lying and the dealers make a commission on financing in-house, so if you refinance they dont make the commission. We reach out out to the finance manager from the original purchase via text and he now stated we had to wait 6 months to refinance. After this I read thru my contract and it revealed there is not prepayment penalties at all, and we could indeed refinance at any point.

Consumer Complaint: I have a loan with GMA Financial. We got behind because we were fighting to adopt our foster son after he was abused and at risk of being returned to his abusers we had over {$50000.00} in legal fees. This Vehicle is our only vehicle my wife file bankruptcy and this is part of the bankruptcy. Our truck was repossessed on XX/XX/XXXX however law enforcement was not notified nor we were until XX/XX/XXXX with a letter stating our truck was going to be sold on XX/XX/XXXX. I am attaching my mail log from XX/XX/XXXX showing I just got the letter. - with 1 day to avoid the sell. The police were called on XX/XX/XXXX and a police report was made due to the fact that law enforcement was not contacted about the repossession.. As of today XX/XX/XXXX the truck is still considered as stolen in the sheriffs database because again GMAC never contacted law enforcement. The police report case number is XXXX- We filed an insurance claim and this is on open investigation with our insurance- again because we thought our truck was stolen. We have also been in a rental - expected to be paid by our insurance company. We had no idea our truck was repossessed. The local law enforcement was not notified of GMAC intent to seize the vehicle beforetherepossession. - resulting in police reports filed and insurance claims filed and us renting a car. We got the attached letter dated XX/XX/XXXX - on XX/XX/XXXX giving us NO time to do anything. The le Please advise what we need to do to get our truck back and why the police we never notified about the repossession and why police were never notified, why is our vehicle still considered stolen and what about the insurance claim that has been made. Consumer Complaint: To whom it XXXX concern, This dispute has to do with a past dispute with GM Financial. After receiving the information from GM Financial regarding an alledged debt of {$6100.00}, I reached out to GM Financial directly to discuss a settlement and then they notified me that my account was taken over by XXXX XXXX which I received any notice of this. Even the letter that was received through the XXXX with my last dispute with GM Financial did not state anything about selling the debt to a debt collector. Also, as you can see attached is a copy of my credit report from my mortgage lender, and it shows that GM Financial is the one reporting on my credit, not XXXX XXXX. How am I able to settle a debt with a collection agency that is not even listed on my credit report? In this situation, I would have paid XXXX XXXX and GM Financial would still report to the credit bureaus, which is wrong. Also, the credit report is stating the debt is {$6100.00}, not {$6100.00}. Lastly, as I stated in my last dispute, that XXXX and XXXX recognized this as a invalid debt and removed/deleted GM Financial XXXX my credit profiles so XXXX should do the same. I believe that XXXX XXXX, GM Financial, and XXXX are violating a few different laws here. I just want the resolution of this GM Financial account to be rightfully deleted/removed from my XXXX credit profile so I can move forward and close on my house which the date is supposed to be XX/XX/26, but I can't move forward without removing/deleting this account from my XXXX credit profile. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I traded in my vehicle with gm financial. I was never late on any of the payments to the company. Vehicle was traded in from Gm financial and new loan was through XXXX XXXX. Since Gm financial was waiting for XXXX XXXX to pay off the loan they marked my account as late payment for the last payment on the loan. Payments to the company was never late and it was their duty to conduct proper business and cash the check that was se t to the company and make arranges since car was traded in. Gm financial added that the loan balance was late to my credit report. Gm financial has no written consent from myself that they are allowed to even share loan information with credit agencies and did not provide proper disclosures asking if I was okay with reporting and sharing my data. Not only did I pay my loan off on time I made car payments ahead of time and paid loan principal balance off fast. There should be no negative business reported between myself and this company. Consumer Complaint: I applied for a vehicle loan through a XXXX XXXX dealership on XX/XX/2023. I was approved funding through XXXX XXXX however, the dealership obviously sent my credit information to several different financial institutions to obtain possible funding. As of today, XX/XX/2023 I have received an adverse action notice from GM Financial that is dated XX/XX/2023. To my knowledge, an adverse action notice is to be presented to the applicant 30 days after the receipt of a completed credit application. This notice was remitted a month and a half later! The letter discloses that I can request the specific reasons for denial by contacting the number within the letter. I tried to contact GM Financial, by the number they provided in the notice, however no one could help me. Their customer service representative demanded that I give my SSN or account number. I was not going to disclose my SSN and I was denied an account. I asked if I could give the reference number mentioned in my letter, and was told that was not sufficient. I then asked to speak with someone about Adverse Action Notices/ Denials and the customer service representative did not understand what I was requesting. The CSR then transferred me to another department, which was dealer services, and that was not a valid department for my issues. I watch my credit closely and do not like when financial institutions do not follow the rules and notify customer that they have denied credit in a timely manner. In this particular case the dealership sent my application to multiple institutions, to which I am only aware of the ones that I obtained an approval from, and the 3 adverse action notices. With receiving such a late notice, I am concerned about the number of times my credit was pulled on XX/XX/2023, which can hinder my score. " Too many inquires in the last 12 months. '' With my concern above, when reaching out to GM Financial, I also wanted to obtain the specific reasons for denial, again the CSR could not help me without me providing my SSN or account number.

Consumer Complaint: In 2019 GM Financial received an insurance payment of {$13000.00} from XXXX XXXX, and an additional check from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$12000.00} to pay off the XXXX XXXX XXXX, I had financed with GM financial . Since then, they have placed the vehicle back on my credit score as a charge off. I have had it removed multiple times. But they keep placing it back on my credit report. Ive disputed it, and now they placed it back on my credit report as a charge off again! My credit score plummeted XXXX points as of today. GM financial refuses to properly reflect the vehicle paid off. I dont know if my next step is to get an attorney?
