Consumer Complaint: am writing to dispute multiple " paid in full '' accounts on my credit report as I understand it, these accounts should not negatively impact my credit since it has been fully paid. As part of the agreement these paid items were agreed to be removed as paid in full. I'd like to bring your attention to the case XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX ( C.D.Cal. XXXX XXXX ), where the court held that credit reporting agencies must avoid reporting information in a manner that creates a materially misleading impression. Reporting a " paid in full '' account as negative or derogatory creates such a misleading impression about my creditworthiness. Due to this Experian has also broken 15 U.S. Code 1681n - Civil liability for willful noncompliance.
