Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you regarding my recent review of my credit report obtained from your bureau. Upon careful examination, I noticed that there are late payments reported on my account. I have taken proactive measures to address and rectify any late payments, and I am pleased to inform you that other credit bureaus have already removed the late payments from their reports. I would like to understand the reason behind the discrepancy in reporting between your bureau and others. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - Those payments were made on time. I am requesting that the late payment markings be updated to reflect my accurate payment history. If there is any confusion, I suggest you contact myself or XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX customer service representative. XXXX have already corrected this account from their records. There was an error present & they were able to find it. I'm confused about how you've verified it while the other bureaus have removed it. Please delete this from my file. It is inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete, or unverifiable. To provide additional context, I have attached relevant documentation, including proof of payments and any correspondence with the creditor in question. I believe that there may be an error or oversight that has led to the discrepancy in reporting. I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and, if appropriate, update my credit report to accurately reflect the current status of my accounts. I understand the importance of accurate credit reporting, and I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: Experian continues to verify XXXX XXXX XXXX account information that they know does not meet the criteria of the FCRA. Several disputes have been submitted for this account to be deleted, with each resulting in the account being verified or inaccurate information being updated. Documents validating incorrect and false information have been provided, and this account remains in my credit file. The balance, payment history, payments, type of account, and all information reported to Experian are inaccurate and false. Experian has violated the agreement it made with the XXXX back in XX/XX/2017. The creditor has been flagged on the XXXX XXXX website and due to technical issues never had a complaint filed through CFPB. Consumer Complaint: I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Experian, one of the major credit reporting agencies, for allowing an unauthorized and unverified debt collection entry on my credit report by XXXX XXXX. I recently discovered that XXXX XXXX has reported a collection account on my credit report managed by Experian. This action has been taken without my prior knowledge, consent, or any form of communication from XXXX XXXX XXXX end. I have never been contacted by XXXX XXXX regarding any debt, nor have I ever engaged in any form of transaction or agreement that would warrant such a collection notice. Furthermore, I firmly believe that this collection entry is erroneous as I do not owe any debt to XXXX XXXX. The lack of initial communication and verification from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX side before reporting to Experian is concerning and, I believe, a violation of my consumer rights. This unverified and unauthorized entry on my credit report has caused me undue stress and may potentially harm my creditworthiness and financial reputation. Therefore, I request the following actions : A thorough investigation into this matter by Experian and the immediate removal of the collection entry from my credit report if it is found to be unsubstantiated. Assurance that such incidents will not recur, and my consumer rights will be duly respected and protected. A written confirmation from Experian and XXXX XXXX regarding the resolution of this complaint. I trust that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will take this complaint seriously and ensure a prompt and fair resolution. I am prepared to provide any additional information or documentation as required. If this is a violation I want to sue! Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX
