Consumer Complaint: I sent a letter out on XX/XX/2023 to Experian, XXXX, and XXXX. However its been more then 30 days and the credit bureaus failed to send my investigation back. This is not making any sense! According to the law 15 U.S. code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy. If the completeness or accuracy of any item of information 's contained in a consumer 's file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by the consumer and the consumers notifies the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller, of such dispute, the agency shall, free charge, conduct a reasonable reinvestigation to determine whether the disputed information is inaccurate and record the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with paragraph ( 5 ), before the end of the 30 day period beginning on the date on which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer or reseller.

I have been in and out of the hospital due to XXXX so I did not have a grasp on the situation and all of the true identity theft. I have prosecuted my sister and won the judgement to have the debts removed but yet they still remain. I have contacted all of the credit bureaus and provided the judgement inwhich they said they had it blocked and then unblocked due to the company submitting information but this information was never sent to me. Consumer Complaint: I looked at my report back on XX/XX/XXXX, and noticed some things are incomplete and not accurate. I sent a letter to Experian and asked them to investigate the completeness and accuracy. I received the results and noticed they did not fix nothing. There are breaking Federal law According to 15 USC 1681e ( b ) it states this ( b ) Accuracy of report Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. According to 15 USC 1681 ( 5 ) it states this ( 5 ) Treatment of inaccurate or unverifiable information ( A ) In general If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall ( i ) promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer, or modify that item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation; and ( i ) promptly notify the furnisher of that information that the information has been modified or deleted from the file of the consumer. ( ii ) promptly notify the furnisher of that information that the information has been modified or deleted from the file of the consumer. According to 15 USC 1681s-2 it states this. ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. This is unfair and if they are doing this to me imagine who else they are doing this too. Can you fix it.
