Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter to the Experian bureau requesting the removal of the inaccurate personal information, accounts, and inquiries reporting on my credit file but the account and inquiry listed below are still reporting on my credit report and are violating Federal Law. Equifax Bureau failed to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC sections 1681i within the time declared and continues to report unconfirmed information. They should remove these accounts and inquiries completely from my Credit Report : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023, nine student loan accounts were transferred from XXXX to XXXX. XXXX did not properly report the nine accounts as paid in full and closed. Currently, both agencies are still reporting duplicate amounts, which overstates my student loan debt by over {$80000.00}. I have been trying to get this corrected for months. I have asked XXXX to update the balances with the credit agencies. No reponse. I have asked XXXX for documents that verify the accounts are paid in full. No response. I have filed disputes with Experian about these balances and they report that XXXX confirmed the balances during the dispute process. However on the credit report, the balances are dated " as of XX/XX/2023 ''. These balances were not updated during the dispute process, even though they are almost a year old. I just filed another dispute with Experian, and they advised that filing a complaint with CFPB might be helpful in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help. Note : I am providing screenshots showing all nine accounts for both XXXX and XXXX. I am also including the detail on the first account only showing : The XXXX balance on the credit report, the XXXX balance from my XXXX account page, and the XXXX balance from the credit report. Each of the nine loans show the same payoff date.
