Consumer Complaint: I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning experience I had with Experian on a recorded line XX/XX/2024 at approximately XXXX PM, regarding inaccuracies on my credit report. I believe the refusal by the representatives, XXXX and XXXX, to address and rectify these inaccuracies violates both federal and Arizona state laws. This issue is not only a potential violation of my consumer rights but also poses a risk to the accuracy of my credit profile. During my conversation with XXXX, who refused to provide his last name or representative number, I attempted to discuss and dispute inaccurate names on my credit report. To my dismay, he declined my request to remove the inaccurate names, without providing any valid reasons for doing so. Subsequently, I requested to speak with a supervisor and was connected to XXXX, who similarly refused to provide his last name or representative number and denied my request to correct the inaccuracies. I would like to bring to your attention the following federal laws and Arizona state laws that, in my understanding, support my right to dispute and rectify inaccuracies on my credit report : Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) : The FCRA grants consumers the right to dispute inaccurate information on their credit reports. Section XXXX ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( A ) specifically allows consumers to request an investigation of disputed information, and inaccurate information must be corrected or deleted. Arizona Fair Credit Reporting Act ( XXXX ) : Arizona has its own fair credit reporting laws. According to Arizona Revised Statutes XXXX et seq., consumers have the right to dispute and correct inaccurate information on their credit reports. Having inaccurate names on my credit report is not only a violation of these laws but also poses a potential threat to the accuracy of my credit profile. Inaccurate information can impact my ability to obtain credit, loans, and other financial opportunities. Therefore, it is crucial that Experian, as a credit reporting agency, adheres to these laws and promptly addresses and corrects any inaccuracies. Furthermore, I would like to highlight that under both the FCRA and XXXX, there are provisions for imposing fines on credit reporting agencies that fail to comply with their obligations. The FCRA, in Section XXXX, allows for statutory damages of up to {$1000.00} for each willful violation. Additionally, the XXXX XXXX impose civil penalties of up to {$2500.00} for each willful violation. I kindly request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that Experian complies with federal and state laws regarding credit reporting. Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide in resolving this issue and ensuring the accuracy of my credit report. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution. Inaccurate names : XXXX XXXX XXXX NAME ID # XXXX ( missing full middle name ) XXXX XXXX NAME ID # XXXX ( missing middle name ) XXXX XXXX NAME ID # XXXX ( missing middle name and final G in last name )

Consumer Complaint: I am left questioning the legitimacy of your verification process, as other reputable credit reporting agencies have acknowledged the fraudulent nature of the accounts and taken appropriate action. To my bewilderment, your response indicated that you were able to verify the disputed items without providing any valid verification or supporting documentation. This is both perplexing and disconcerting, as the other credit bureaus have acknowledged the fraudulent nature of these accounts and promptly removed them from my credit history. XXXX XXXX XXXX PLEASE DELETE!!! XXXX and XXXX have already removed this account from their records. XXXX XXXX XXXX- PLEASE DELETE!!! XXXX and XXXX have already removed this account from their records. I demand a thorough and transparent investigation into the verification process undertaken by your bureau, as it seems to deviate from the standards set by the law. I urge you to rectify this situation promptly by re-evaluating my dispute and providing a detailed explanation of the verification process that led to the denial of the removal of these fraudulent accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a formal complaint against your bureau for inaccurate and incomplete credit information. I am extremely distressed that the information included in my credit report profile has failed to maintain reasonable procedures and operations to assure maximum possible accuracy in the credit reports that are published. As per the credit reporting laws, bureaus are required to report only 100 % accurate credit information. Every step must be taken to assure the information reported is completely accurate and correct. I request you to immediately re-investigate the following information as it is entirely inaccurate and incomplete, and as such, represents a very serious error in reporting : XXXX XXXX XXXX Date Opened : XX/XX/2017 Balance : {$28000.00}. I respectfully request you to provide proof of this alleged item, specifically the contract, note or other instrument bearing my signature. Failing that, the item must be deleted from my credit report as soon as possible. I withhold my consent for electronic communication and explicitly request that all responses be conveyed in written form through the United States Postal Service ( USPS ). I am the primary complainant in this matter, and I hereby grant full authority to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) to thoroughly investigate and address this claim.
