Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Public record information inaccurate
Consumer Complaint: I am requesting the removal of an inaccurate/incomplete bankruptcy record on my credit file ( Attached ). Additionally I am requesting the removal of accounts being reported as Included in XXXX which is inaccurate. I have been unable to file a direct dispute with the data furnisher because Experian refuses to provide this information. According to the bankruptcy record, US BKPT XXXX is the alleged court of filing, however on previous disputes Experian admitted that the courts DOES NOT report to them, and that they use information provided by a data vendor whom they refuse to reveal, this prohibiting me from conducting a complete dispute. In my most recent complaint ( attached ) I requested the data vendors information and Experian has failed to disclose it. On XX/XX/23, Experian opened a reinvestigation only to update my middle name and they closed the investigation the exact same day, please see attached evidence. There is absolutely no way Experian completed a thorough investigation within hours. Experian has violated the 15 USC 1681g ( a ) ( 2 ) which states consumer reporting agencies must clearly disclose the source of information to the consumer ; as per case XXXX v Experian.

Consumer Complaint: My car loan was paid in full - my auto insurance & XXXX insurance carriers paid MORE than the full balance of the loan. I'd previously filed a separate complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX because they were reporting my loan as a charge off. They sent a response advising there was an issue with the payment from the XXXX insurance carrier but they initiated another claim to get the outstanding amount & would correct my credit report once they received the payment. After a review of their financial records, in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent a letter advising that they discovered my loan was actually overpaid & issued a refund check plus interest ( see attached ). For some XXXX XXXX reason, XXXX XXXX began actively reporting the account as a charge off on my credit reports in XX/XX/XXXX & have been doing so for the last 6 months. Not only was the loan MORE than paid in full & not charged off, the loan is from XXXX & has not been active in years so there is no reason for them to be actively reporting it on my credit as a current charge off. This is the second time I've had to file a complaint against XXXX XXXX for adding wrong/disparaging information on my credit report. Obviously, this new issue with them has resulted in ANOTHER credit drop at their hands, They continue to cause me distress, both emotional & financial, with their inaccurate reporting. They've been fined for poor/predatory banking practices so many times that it's unbelieveable they are still allowed to do business. When are you all going to actually protect consumers & shut them down?

Each of these credit reporting agencies, as of today XX/XX/2024, report XXXX adverse items to my personal consumer report. Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the presence of fraudulent accounts on my credit report, and I urgently request their immediate removal. I was the victim & I'm not sure why the CRA is not complying with the law. The other bureaus have followed suit. Im very confused why this one seems to ignore my requests. Upon reviewing my credit report, I discovered unauthorized accounts that have been falsely opened in my name. I have attached copies of the relevant sections of my credit report highlighting the fraudulent entries for your reference. XXXX XXXX I want to emphasize that I have not initiated or authorized these accounts, and they are a result of identity theft or fraudulent activity. I am taking immediate steps to report this matter to the relevant authorities, but I also request your prompt assistance in rectifying this situation on my credit report. I kindly ask that you investigate these matters urgently and remove the fraudulent accounts from my credit report. Additionally, please provide me with written confirmation once the investigation is complete and the erroneous entries have been deleted.
