Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from my student loan servicer on XX/XX/2023 stating that my student loan had been forgiven by the Department of Education. I was told that this change would be reported to all 3 credit agencies and that I should see the change on my credit reports in a month. After XXXX weeks, only XXXX reflected the change, so I filed a dispute requests with both Experian and XXXX in XXXX, providing the letter which very clearly states that my loan has been forgiven. Both companies responded in only a few days, each with dense, impenetrable multipage reports that essentially told me I was wrong!

Consumer Complaint: I was looking at my credit reports and notice there was things that are not correct. I sent a letter to Experian on XX/XX/2023. Here is my tracking number : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but its been more than XXXX days XXXX XXXX credit bureau has not responded that violation of 15 US C 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Under 15 USC, 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ) subject to subsection ( f ) and expect as provided in the subsection ( g ), if the completeness or accuracy of any information contained in the consumers file at the consumers reporting agency is disputed by the consumer D consumer notice is the agency directly, or indirectly through a reseller. Such of dispute, the agency shall, free of charge, conduct a reasonable investigation to determine whether the dispute is information is inaccurate and recorded the current status of the disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance to paragraphs ( 5 ), before the end of the 30 day period on the date on which the agency received a notice of the Dispute from the consumer or the reseller.

( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. I can go on and on and on The credit bureaus have no respect for the laws. Someone needs to hold them accountable for this
