Consumer Complaint: I have rights to ensure that my private information is not shared without my consent. The Fair Credit Reporting Act and other laws protect my privacy and require consumer reporting agencies like XXXX and Experian to exercise fairness, impartiality, and respect for my privacy. These agencies need my written instructions to furnish my information to financial institutions. However, I have not given my consent for them to share my information, and they have not informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Additionally, they are reporting adverse information about my account without your permission, which is against the law. The agencies are also required to maintain reasonable procedures to avoid violations and limit the furnishing of consumer reports. I have the right to opt out of their reporting at any time.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I purchased a sofa from XXXX XXXX and opened a line of credit in the amount of {$1400.00}. I was told that within 30 days I would receive mail on how to pay the bill and access my account. I had given XXXX XXXX my correct address including apartment number. XXXX incorrectly forgot to include my Apartment in my address when opening the line of credit and I never received any mail to pay the bill or access my account. In XXXX from my bank I got a notice stating there was a late payment and credit score had dropped. I called XXXX XXXX and they gave me XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX number to call. On XX/XX/2023 I called XXXX and I found out the address on the account was incorrect, they made a note on the account and updated the address and they were able to give me my account number so I can log in a make my first payment. The customer service rep told me to fill out a XXXX credit dispute form which I did towards the end of the month and mailed to XXXX. On XX/XX/2023 XXXX sent me a mail saying that the current information being reported to the credit bureaus was correct, but it was not. On my account I can see my first 3 bills and the apartment number was not there and no mail was delivered until XXXX, when the address was corrected by me calling. No mail or information was sent to me to pay the bill and it was XXXX 's and XXXX XXXX fault for not putting the correct address. Neither of them followed up through phone or email to fix the address issue. Attached are the months of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX showing the address didn't have the apartment number. I also attached XXXX showing when the address was correct and when mail reached me.

Consumer Complaint: My credit score has not improved very much even though I have a long credit history, ( XXXX ) years. I make weekly payments on my credit cards, my credit usage is always under 30 %, and I never make late payments.. I have had my credit score drop at times for no justified reason at all without explanation. My score should be in excess of 800, if the credit reporting agencies along with the credit card companies were reporting my information accurately I am requesting the CFPB do a thorough, and address my concerns fully. Thanks in advance...

Consumer Complaint: I am writing a to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) regarding inaccurate late payments that remain on my credit report despite multiple attempts to correct the information. The credit reporting agencies and the creditor have failed to provide any documentation or evidence of the accuracy of their reporting, yet they continue to report the inaccurate information on my credit report. I have sent multiple letters to the credit reporting agencies disputing the accuracy of the late payments, citing laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Credit Billing Act. In response, the credit reporting agencies claimed to have verified the accuracy of their reporting, without providing any evidence or documentation to support their claims. I have also requested that my personal information ( Address and name ) be updated and have provided proof of such with my Driver 's License and bank statement with the credit reporting agencies. Experian has refused to do so. On XX/XX/, I called Experian and spoke to an agent named XXXX who refused to provide me with an XXXX ID for security reasons. XXXX claimed that I would have to call all of the creditors on my credit report that are reporting my name incorrectly to have it corrected, even creditors that I no longer have an account with in other words closed. This further proves that this credit reporting agency is intentionally reporting inaccurate information about myself even though I have provided proof multiple times when disputing. I will be uploading documents as proof of my dispute letters

Consumer Complaint: Experian is reporting inaccurate accounts and information on my consumer report in which I request them to investigate these accounts. I reached out to the creditors and asked them to verify anything that theyre reporting on my credit report. The accounts listed in my dispute never belonged to me nor do I have knowledge of who they are asking to collect debt. Ive reached out to the creditor asking them to verify this debt, which they couldnt so how does this debt belong to me? How can I owe them a debt if there was a mutual agreement set in place? What documents does Experian have that " verify ' this debt belong to me? I understand that it is XXXX duty to do whats fair and equitable for the consumer and I am asking them to thoroughly investigate these and remove anything thats unverifiable, inaccurate or under violation. Anything thats inaccurate or not verifiable must be removed from my consumer report immediately. Included in my complaint is a new dispute letter with the inaccurate accounts and information listed. Violations committed by Experian : 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose 15 U.S. Code 1681e - Compliance procedures 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy
