Consumer Complaint: I sumbitted a CFPB complaint regarding the accuracy of the reporting of the following account for XXXX XXXX and to my dismay they verified the reporting saying it meets FCRA requirements. However according to FRCA - The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., governs access to consumer credit report records and promotes accuracy, fairness, and the privacy of personal information assembled by Credit Reporting Agencies ( CRAs ). I have attached a screenshot of the reporting for the XXXX XXXX* and you will see there are major inaccuracies in the reporting Date Opened, Date, Reported, Account Status, as well as the original creditor and account closed date.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX an account was opened on my credit report for Child Support, which is now closed. The amount was in the amount of {$91.00} Experian updated the balance XX/XX/XXXX and it is still publicly reporting on my credit report. According to United States Code ( USC ), Title 42, Section 654 ( 1 ), child support is explicitly stated as NOT being considered a debt or liability for the purpose of collecting or reporting information on a credit report. This means that any orders or agreements related to child support are separate and should NOT be confused or conflated with them. Furthermore, the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) also prohibits the inclusion of certain types of personal information in credit reports, including those related to income, assets, liabilities, and other financial obligations. Child Support payments do not fall within these categories and therefore can not be reported on a credit report without violating applicable laws and regulations.

Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.
