Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding unauthorized and illegal activities reflected on my credit report. This letter serves as a formal request to remove these inaccuracies immediately, as they are a direct result of the Equifax data breach from XXXX. My personal information, including my Social Security number, date of birth, and other sensitive data, was compromised during the well-publicized Equifax data breach. I have reason to believe that as a consequence of this breach, my information was sold and used without my consent, leading to the creation of unauthorized accounts and entries on my credit reports. Over {$4200.00} was spent from XXXX - XXXX in trying to remediate the effects in going making calls to Equifax, visiting USPS multiple times waiting in line and sending postage. Purchase of celluar devices, plans, making calls, and purchase of printer to print out all necessary documents to mail. I am hereby attaching proof that confirms my status as a victim of the Equifax data breach. This evidence includes official communication from Equifax acknowledging my information was compromised in the breach. Despite this acknowledgment, Equifax has failed to take appropriate action to rectify the situation. In light of these circumstances, I am requesting the immediate deletion of all accounts and entries on my credit reports that have resulted from this data breach. These items are fraudulent and do not represent my financial behavior or consent. Please note, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you are obligated to correct any inaccuracies on my credit report promptly. Failure to do so may result in legal action. I trust that you will address this matter with the urgency it requires. I expect a written confirmation of the deletion of these items from my credit report. If you require any further information or documentation from my end, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your immediate attention to this serious matter.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXXi begin calling to request 15 u.s. code 1681c on all hard inquiries bein reported on my credit report. In XXXX i paid a company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to get the exact same hard inquiries removed that had been popping up and continued to be repeatedly reported as new inquiries on my report. nothing was removed in XXXX, so in XXXX i myself called and wrote letters with these same request, all were ignored by XXXX, equifax and XXXX removed some things but not all. so i again in XX/XX/XXXX i hired XX/XX/XXXXto dispute these things that were not only being reported on my credit report still but they were being reported with updated dates as though they were recent and not already old, over the phone i was cursed out, told to hush, and hung up on, still no results, at this point i don't know what else to do, but i would like all hard inquiries and collections to be removed from my credit report due to section 15 U.S. Code 1679c. They have violated section 15 USC 1681b, i did not consent to any of those and have correctly multiple times asked for an investigation to be done only to be told it was all correct and the original dates on them to be updated as to last even longer on my report.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX - XX/XX/2023 XXXX - XX/XX/2023 I recently received a copy of my credit report, and I notice there is an unauthorized credit inquiry made by the company listed above. To my knowledge, I have not signed any documents authorizing the company in question to view my credit report. The listed inquiry was without authorization, and for no legitimate business purposes. As such, it is a very serious error in reporting. I am requesting your credit bureau to initiate an investigation and to determine responsible parties in this unauthorized credit inquiry. As part of your investigation, please send the names, business addresses, and phone numbers of those who made unauthorized credit inquiries so I may contact them directly. In addition, I respectfully request a copy of any documents authorizing credit inquiry, and signed on my behalf, so that I may verify its validity. If you find that I was not the one who authorized this inquiry, I ask that it be removed immediately from my credit file. Please be so kind as to forward me documentation that you have had the unauthorized inquiry removed. If you find that I am in error, then please send me proof of this.
