Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I recently checked my credit report and realized the company is reporting unknown adverse information on my credit report concerning an alleged debt. I have no knowledge of any business with the company. And I also never engaged in any contracts giving the company consent to furnish anything on my credit report. I feel extremely violated and upset that my privacy would be invaded in such a way. And that my identity would be used without my consent. The company 's actions have damaged my credit rating and hindered my access to credit. The company has violated FCRA permissible purposes of consumer reports, by furnishing unknown transactions to credit reporting agencies without my written consent. The company has also violated FDCPA 1692e by communicating with me concerning the false character, amount, and legal status of the alleged debt. And stating that I owe that debt. According to 15 USC 1681i ( 5 ) the credit bureaus have to modify or delete accounts that are not reporting accurately. According to 15 USC 1681b ( 1 ), the credit bureaus do not have written permission. According to 15 USC 1681, I have the right to privacy. According to 15 USC 1681s-2, A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate.

Equifax accidentally removed my mortgage from their reporting almost a year ago. My bank XXXXXXXX XXXX has also been sending Equifax the data to report but they are failing to do so. I've called recently and they requested i send my contact information to approve the reinsertion of XXXX XXXX Mortgage account # XXXX. I have provided ( Attached ) a credit report from Equifax showing they where reporting my mortgage before account # XXXX. Also ( Attached ) I have the letter XXXX has sent Equifax time and time again. Furthermore, I have attached my recent XXXX and XXXX XXXX showing this account in good standing. I need Equifax to insert this loan and history into my credit file and be fair to me in their reporting. Equifax has recorded calls of me calling about this and we have a XXXX XXXX over XXXX year requesting this to happen. Our next step if Equifax doesn't comply is to exercise our rights under FRCA guidelines.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a letter to the 3 Credit Bureaus to update this suspicious information. I think you have not validated these accounts by Sections 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), and I will pursue legal action against them. This was already included in my prior COMPLAINT, and I'm including it again. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
