Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my utmost concern and frustration regarding the numerous, persistent attempts I have made to remove fraudulent items from my account with Credit Bureaus. Despite my repeated efforts, the resolution of this matter has been elusive, causing me significant distress and financial hardship. I discovered unauthorized and fraudulent transactions on my account. Since then, I have diligently reported the issue to your customer service department on multiple occasions. Regrettably, each attempt to address the matter has been met with limited success, and the fraudulent items remain unresolved. I understand the gravity of handling fraud-related incidents and the importance of a thorough investigation. However, the lack of progress and effective communication throughout this process has left me feeling unsupported and vulnerable. I urgently request the following actions to be taken : Immediate and comprehensive investigation into the fraudulent items on my account. Transparent communication outlining the specific measures being taken to address and remove the fraudulent transactions. Swift removal of the fraudulent items and a comprehensive review of my account 's security to prevent any further unauthorized transactions. Given the urgency of this matter, I expect a resolution within the specified timeframe from the date of receipt of this letter. It is crucial that the necessary steps are taken promptly to rectify this situation and restore the security of my account. If the issue persists without a satisfactory resolution, I may have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including involving relevant regulatory authorities and seeking legal counsel to protect my rights as a consumer. Consumer Complaint: I value your efforts in addressing some of the fraudulent items in my file resulting from an alleged identity theft. However, there are remaining items that require removal. Upon reviewing my records, I observed that several fraudulent entries, not associated with me, persist despite previous correspondence. This marks my 11th communication on this matter. According to Section 605B of the FCRA, it is a legal obligation to promptly remove fraudulent items opened due to identity theft. The disputed items are not linked to my identity. Consumer Complaint: Subject : REMOVAL OF INTERNAL BLOCK To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally request the removal of an internal block that has been placed on my credit report, in accordance with my rights under the FCRA, specifically Section 605 B.On XX/XX/2023, I asked Equifax Credit Reporting Agency I can not access my credit report. The representative of Equifax told me that they have placed an internal block on my credit file. I can not access my account because I am disputing inaccurate information and that is why Equifax have placed an internal block on my credit report without my knowledge. I did not receive any notice or anything. I do not have an internal block on my XXXX or XXXX account. So why should I have it on my Equifax Credit report? I kindly request Equifax to remove this block from my credit file immediately and provide me with written confirmation of the removal. Furthermore, I request that Equifax update my credit file to reflect the removal of the internal block. Please be advised that the FCRA mandates that the consumer reporting agencies respond to such request within 15 days failure to comply to this request within the legally required time frame will result in legal action to protect my rights under the FCRA. I appreciate Equfax 's attention in this matter and please provide me with written confirmation of the actions taken to remove the internal block from my credit file. Thank you for your cooperation. Consumer Complaint: I reviewed my Credit report and noticed that XXXX account number XXXX reported to Equifax on numerous occasions as will show in the document below named " Revolving Accounts '' when they knowingly reported false data to Equifax and XXXX! This person violated FCRA deliberately and knowingly! ( see Revolving Accounts ) namely the months of 2023 Actual Payments vs XXXX months of 2023 Payments! Law has been well established in regards to this issue. Furthermore XXXX has Conspired with Equifax and XXXX to deprive me of my rights in regards to 15 U.S. Code Sec. 1681 ( d ) ( 1 ) In General Consumer Report also under 15 U.S. Code Sec. 1681 ( 2 ) Exclusions : Consumer Report shall not Include the following : ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) subject to section 1681s3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; ( ii ) communication of that information among persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control ; or ( iii ) communication of other information among persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, if it is clearly and conspicuously disclosed to the consumer that the information may be communicated among such persons and the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that the information is initially communicated, to direct that such information not be communicated among such persons ; This is in Clear violation of my Right to a Fair Credit Report. Congress has held that it is a GRAVE responsibility to report accurate information which has not been done here. Consumer Complaint: I acknowledge the time you have dedicated to rectifying the presence of fraudulent entries in my file arising from an alleged identity theft. However, several items still persist that necessitate removal. This marks my seventh complaint regarding identity theft victimization. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 605B, ( a ), it is mandated that you expeditiously eliminate any items opened without my knowledge, consent, or authority within four business days. Consumer Complaint: I the consumer, have been violated of my consumer rights by XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax. I have tried to settle these matters numerous of attempts ( Attached is Certified Receipts showing proof of disputes ) but these credit reporting agencies have not been following the laws placed by Congress and the United States. The law 15 USC 1681The congress makes the following findings : unfair credit reporting methods UNDERMINE THE PUBLIC CONFIDENCE which is essential to the continued functioning of the banking system. Meaning that these credit reporting agencies are working against the consumers instead of reporting fair, equitable, and accurate information. The purpose of 15 USC 1681 is to REQUIRE that consumer reporting agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, Equifax ) adopt reasonable procedures for meeting the needs of commerce for consumer credit, personnel, insurance, and other information in a manner which is FAIR and EQUITABLE to the consumer, with regard to the confidentiality, accuracy, relevancy, and proper utilization of such information in accordance with the requirements of this code. I have given XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax written and verbal instructions to remove inaccurate, unauthorized, unverifiable information off of my consumer report as I discovered 15 USC 1681b-any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I have verbally and physically attempted to communicate with XXXX to correct the city of my address on my consumer report numerous of times. Attached in this complaint is proof of inaccurate information still on my consumer report and certified mail receipts. Which clearly shows negligence of my request that has caused me damages. I have verbally and physically written to XXXX to remove the inaccurate employer off of my consumer report in multiple attempts on recorded lines and signature documents attached herein with certified mail receipts. Which shows XXXX negligence of my request. Information regarding inquiries Except as provided in section 15 USC 1681g ( a ) ( 5 ) of this title, a consumer reporting agency ( XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax ) shall NOT furnish to any person a record of inquiries in connection with a credit or insurance transaction that is not initiated by a consumer. I have notice that my consumer report has been pulled impermissibly, so I reached out to Equifax verbally and spoken with representatives on a recorded line and physically written to Equifax to remove the unauthorized inquiry thats attached herein this complaint. Equifax has shown failure and negligence to my request which has caused me damages. Also XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax failed to list the disputed debt accounts attached herein as disputed. I the consumer disputed multiple alleged debts to the credit reporting agencies thats on my consumer report and they do not state disputed by consumer on all three credit reporting agencies. By law it states that the CRAs must report the alleged debt as disputed on my consumer report. Also, since I disputed a debt to one of the three major credit reporting agencies ( XXXX, XXXX, or Equifax ), that particular agency must notify the other two bureaus that I disputed the alleged debt. Failing to list the account as disputed, after a valid dispute has been sent to the credit reporting agency, is a violation of the FCRA. Which again shows negligence committed by XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax. XXXX, XXXX, Equifax, and the financial institutions violated my rights per 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information a financial institution may not, directly or through any affiliate, disclose to a NONAFFILIATED third parties ( XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax ) any nonpublic personal information, unless such financial institution provides or has provided to the consumer a notice that complies with section 6803 of this title. I HAVE NEVER GAVE NOR WAS I EVER GIVEN A NOTICE OF DISCLOSURE THAT HAD GIVEN ANY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION PERMISSION TO GIVE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AWAY WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND PERMISSION. Which is a violation of my rights as a consumer. 15USC 1681a-The term consumer report does NOT INCLUDE report containing information solely as to TRANSACTIONS or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report. On my consumer report there is multiple transactions displayed that is violating my rights as a consumer which is causing me excessive stress and damages. XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax has not been following rules and regulations to report fair, accurate, equitable information. The credit reporting agencies have different report dates, remarks, past dues, account balances, high balances, monthly balances thats interfering and violating my consumer report. Which shows negligence of each credit reporting agency. XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax is a third party company that is not affiliated with financial institutions. The CRAs and Financial institutions violated my rights under the Privacy Act and under the terms and conditions that were granted to me at the time of the account opening. The FTC has brought legal actions against organizations that have violated consumers privacy rights, or misled them by failing to maintain security for sensitive consumer information, or caused substantial consumer injury. In many of these cases, the FTC has charged the defendants with violating Section 5 of the FTC Act, which bars unfair and deceptive acts and practices in or affecting commerce. In addition to the FTC Act, the agency also enforces other federal laws relating to consumers privacy and security.This shows that my right to have privacy has been compromised and violated by the credit reporting agencies ( XXXX, Equifax, and XXXX ). Per 15 USC 1681 et seq., governs access to consumer credit report records and promotes accuracy, fairness, and the PRIVACY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION assembled by Credit Reporting Agencies ( CRAs ). Also as discovered Equifax , Inc. agreed to pay at least {$570.00} XXXX, and potentially up to {$700.00} XXXX, as part of a global settlement with the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), and 50 U.S. states and territories to settle allegations that the credit reporting company 's failed to take reasonable steps to secure its network. Per 31 USC 3104- The charge off accounts thats reported on my consumer report needs to be updated as paid as agreed and never late. Per the law stating a charge off is a certificate of indebtedness which is now considered INCOME. Income can not be reported on a consumer credit report that is a violation of rights. Section ( a ) The Secretary of the Treasury may borrow on the credit of the United States Government amounts necessary for expenditures authorized by law and may buy, redeem, and make refunds under section 3111 of this title. For amounts borrowed, the Secretary may issue- ( 1 ) certificates of indebtedness of the Government. If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall- ( XXXX ) promptly DELETE that item of information from the file of the consumer, or modify that item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation. ( B ) Requirements Relating to Reinsertion of Previously Deleted Material Certification of accuracy of information. If any information is deleted from a consumer 's file pursuant to subpara-graph ( A ), the information may not be reinserted in the file by the consumer reporting agency unless the person who furnishes the information certifies that the information is complete and accurate. ( ii ) Notice to consumer. If any information that has been deleted from a consumer 's file pursuant to subparagraph ( A ) is reinserted in the file, the consumer reporting agency shall notify the consumer of the reinsertion in writing not later than 5 business days after the reinsertion or, if authorized by the consumer for that purpose, by any other means available to the agency. I have been trying to fix this matter for the past six months this is my FINAL ATTEMPT TO ADDRESS THESE DAMAGES AND INACCURATE UNVERIFIED INFORMATION. I DO NOT CONSENT NOR GIVE THE CRAs AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS PERMISSION TO SELL NOR SHARE MY INFORMATION WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WRITTEN CONSENT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND INDEFINITELY. I have been taken action against all three credit reporting agencies since XXXX of XXXX and a continuation of present time in XXXX. This will be my LAST ATTEMPT to settle this matter before I proceed with LITIGATION for damages that has been caused upon me due to negligence of the credit reporting agencies. Due to their failure to comply with my written and verbal statements I have suffered traumatic emotional, financial, and physical damages because of their negligence.
