Consumer Complaint: I previously disputed with Equifax directly as well as thru the CFPB website, regarding inaccurate information regarding my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had returned my XXXX XXXX XXXX at the end of XX/XX/XXXX, purchased a XXXX XXXX, and the remainder of the lease was paid in full. My obligation per my lease agreement was satisfied. The balance that was owed to XXXX was for excess Mileage and taxes. I received a Statement from XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, made 2 payments to XXXX. I called XXXX late XX/XX/XXXX or early XX/XX/XXXX to discuss payment options on XXXX. An agreement was made for me to pay {$1000.00} and the account would be closed. Which is what I did. There was Never a Late or Missed Payment. Equifax verified with XXXX that I never made a Late payment, and my Credit Report was updated to Reflect that. I received an updated Credit Report in the mail as well as seeing my Credit Report on my Online account. I thought what ever changes or updated Equifax would do, would generate everywhere. This did not happen.
