I noticed that some of my personal information was shared with another party without my permission. This doesn't seem right, and I believe it goes against the rules in the law ( 15 U.S. Code 6802 ) about sharing personal information. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I have the right to know and control who accesses my personal details. The fact that my information was shared with someone not connected to your agency raises concerns about my privacy rights. I never had the chance to say no to this, which the law requires. I want to be clear that my concern is not with the companies I owe money to but with your agency for sharing my information without asking me. I checked the law ( 15 USC 1681b ), and it says you need my written permission to share my personal information.
