Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Equifax regarding their failure to address and rectify inaccurate information on my report. I have attempted to resolve this issue directly with Equifax to no avail, and I am now seeking your assistance in resolving this matter. Details of the dispute are as follows XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I first contacted Equifax in writing to dispute unauthorized inquiries on my credit report. I provided all necessary documentation supporting my claim and requested a thorough investigation into the matter. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I reached out to Equifax again, as I had not received any response or acknowledgment of my initial dispute. I reiterated my concerns and provided additional evidence to support my claim. 3. Despite multiple attempts to engage with Equifax, my efforts to rectify this situation were met with silence. On XXXX I sent a follow-up communication, once again emphasizing the urgency of the matter and requesting immediate attention to my dispute. 4. Regrettably, Equifax has failed to process my dispute or provide any communication regarding the status of the investigation. This lack of response and action has not only caused significant distress but also has potential repercussions on my financial well-being. Given the unresolved nature of this issue, I am now seeking the assistance of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to intervene and facilitate a prompt and fair resolution. I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that XXXX addresses the unauthorized inquiries on my credit report as per the guidelines set forth by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Enclosed with this letter, please find copies of all relevant documentation, including my previous communications with XXXX, proof of the unauthorized inquiries, and any other pertinent information that may assist in your investigation. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution that restores the accuracy of my credit report and protects my consumer rights.
