Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute an item on my credit report. I have been having issues with XXXX XXXX for quite some time now. Despite numerous attempts to rectify the situation, I am still having to file complaints and dispute letters. I am extremely frustrated with this situation, as I was promised that this issue would be resolved within 10 days. It has now been 65 days and the issue is still impacting my credit score, which is preventing me from moving forward on a loan. This is causing me a great deal of emotional and physical distress, and I am at my wit 's end. Please see the attached documentation regarding my accounts with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Date opened : XX/XX/XXXX Balance : {$35.00} a. I am the primary complainant in this matter, and I hereby XXXX full authority to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) to thoroughly investigate and address this claim. And also, the bankruptcy information currently reflected on my credit report is not only inaccurate but egregiously so. The case purportedly being reported as valid and accurate is patently incorrect. Contrary to your records, there has never been a case tried or seen, and unequivocally, there is NO JUDGMENT associated with it. Absence of a judgment indicates the absence of a case a basic legal principle seemingly overlooked in your reporting. It baffles me how a case that was never presented before a judge is now being reported as valid on my credit file. I demand that this erroneous account be promptly expunged from my credit report. Failure to rectify this situation with the utmost urgency will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action. Be advised that I have already consulted with my attorney, and should this matter persist beyond 30 days from the date of this letter, a federal case will be initiated against the responsible party. XXXX XXXX CT CA XXXX XXXX XXXX Filed on XX/XX/XXXX. I implore you to take immediate action to correct this gross misrepresentation. Disregarding this request and continuing to disseminate inaccurate information will compel me to seek legal redress without hesitation.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I sent a letter to Equifax, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX regarding numerous violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act in which the aforementioned Credit Reporting Agencies failed in their grave responsibilities to exercise fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. Per 15 USC 1681b the CRA may furnish a consumer report in accordance with written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. As the consumer, I did not give them written. Also, I believe that they have also violated the Privacy Act of 1974 by disclosing a record without my written consent. I requested that the CRAs mentioned above discontinue reporting account status, payment history, and derogatory remarks as it is a violation according to 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( I ) but they failed to abide by my request or abide by my request to opt out of this reporting per 12 CFR 1016.7. These violations have caused me irreparable harm, and adverse actions, and have affected my livelihood. Congress has put into place legislation to protect the consumer from these inaccuracies and methods to undermine public confidence in the banking system. My privacy has been breached by these aforementioned CRAs and they must be held accountable for their willful noncompliance.
