Consumer Complaint: I've identified several deviations from mandatory reporting standards, raising concerns about the accuracy and completeness of the information in my report. As per 15 U.S.C 1681e, consumer reporting agencies must adhere to reasonable procedures to ensure the utmost accuracy of information in consumer reports. Additionally, 12 CFR Part 1022 ( Regulation V ) stipulates that furnishers must provide information about consumer accounts with integrity and accuracy, conducting reasonable investigations of consumer disputes following Metro 2 compliance standards outlined in the XXXX. I immediately took steps to report the identity theft and limit the damage. Consumer Complaint: on XXXX I pulled m y credit report from the three credit bureaus and discovered that XXXX XXXX reported my mortgage as 30+days late however I am participant of the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX program which advise mortgage providers to not report participants as late considering that payments are submitted in bulk and take processing time. To my dismay I discovered that XXXX XXXX continuously submitted inaccurate information to the credit bureaus even after have a notation on my account to not do so. XXXX XXXX submitted over 10 months of late payments to the bureaus. I was approved in XX/XX/XXXX to be a participant in the XXXX XXXX XXXX program. I want the correct information sent to the bureaus so that my credit report reflect accurate reporting regarding my mortgage payments.
