Consumer Complaint: During mid XX/XX/2023. I received my annual credit report and came across a debt of a closed account showing as not XXXX account but XXXX lines of XXXX XXXX XXXX I was immediately in shock. I then called the creditor and they stated someone used my identification to open this account. I then disputed with ALL THREE BUREAUS in XX/XX/2023. Results came back as still allegedly my debt. I then called MIDLAND CREDIT ACCOUNT who XXXX XXXX back sold the debt to. When I went to my bureaus in late XX/XX/2023 and requested that they provide a validation of debt to me, they said they can not and that all letters go out electronically. However, I went to check my report on XXXX in XX/XX/2023, the debt was deleted. I then checked back every month there after as I usually do and my credit was ok. How we as of this month XX/XX/2023, the MIDLAND CREDIT BUREAU resurfaced back on my XXXX report. I have or ever had any knowledge of this debt then or now. According to the 15 U.S. Code 1692e they are in violation. My life is at a stand still because of this false information.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against Midland Credit Management XXXX for their abusive, deceptive, and unfair collection practices in the collection of extensions of credit. In a conspiracy with the consumer reporting agencies to cause a restraint of XXXX and XXXX, this debt collector has engaged in racketeering activity. I have never given this company any consent to be in possession of my nonpublic personal information. I disaffirm any alleged agreement or contract between I, the consumer, and the original creditor, whether implied or explicit. This account is a billing error. Please provide me with documentary evidence of the obligors indebtedness. This company is in violation of the false claims act and is jeopardizing my consumer credit reputation with other financial institutions by fraudulently furnishing this alleged debt to coerce payment. Any payments made or future payments are a result of threat, duress, and coercion, due to undue influence. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( c ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activity, any communication and collection activity, of this and any alleged debts until Midland Credit Management XXXX, can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them. I was told I owe XXXX and its with a collection and any information will be used against me.i offered to settle the account I told The representative that I can afforded XXXX to settle account then he started yelling at me and threatened me that he will forward this to judgment where I could be arrested I repeated my self and asked him again what he meant he said it depend on your state but I could be arrested or have a judgment against me to garnish me wage or take legal action against me. Which in my understanding under the fair credit act they cant threatened me or make me feel intimidated. I am asking and reporting this unfair behavior and Im asking to remove this debt from my report I didnt know I had such a credit card with XXXX XXXX and I am not sure who used it or applied for it.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX via their chat service, I informed Midland Credit Management that I did not owe a debt and that I was not, nor was I associated with, the person they were looking for. This was after they continuously called me from AT LEAST 13 different numbers over the course of several months. I blocked all 13 numbers. In the XX/XX/XXXX chat, I also asked them to stop calling me, to remove me from their list and notified them that my number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry. I can provide proof of the chat on XX/XX/XXXX, if needed. I also filed complaints with the FTC each time they called me from a different number starting from about call # 5. Beginning on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX they have called me 2 days in a row from 2 different numbers, which I have again blocked.
