Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I found out that there are 2 debt collections and credit card accounts under my credit report which are not mine. So I contacted all 3 credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) and also all the credit card company and debt collections. The thief used my identity opened accounts : 1. Midland Credit Management : {$610.00}, date opened on XX/XX/XXXX. 2. Midland Credit Management : {$500.00}, date opened on XX/XX/XXXX. The representative XXXX in the fraud department of Midland Credit Management told me that he will mail me the letter to let me know what documentations that I need to provided. On XXXX I received the letter, and I faxed them back the identity fraud as they requested.

States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my wet signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity. 7. Cease and desist as this is identity theft. Agreement with there client that grants midland credit the authority to collect the alleged debt, signed agreement debtor has made with debt collector, or other verifiable proof debtor has a contractual obligation to pay debt collection, any agreement that bears the signature of debtor wherein agreed to pay creditor, all statements while account was open. Midland Credit Management only responded with copies of billing statements and old bill statement copies

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management has harassed me even after I told them to stop calling. They also are reporting false information as I paid off another of my XXXX Credit Card they are not taking off the balance. They continue to call even when I tell them to stop they just hang up the phone and call again a few days later they send letter after letter in mail and harass me to the point where I can't even get normal calls for work. I got call records and audio where I asked them to stop as I started to record every call I answer now with an app that auto records.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out to MCM- MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT, advising this purchase/rental/lease was not made by me. I stated to rep XXXX XXXX that all the rental agreement was sent through XXXX to an unknown email address I do not own nor recognize. I also requested to stop the harassing phone calls to me and family members. There is not and shipping address where these rental goods were sent and no proof that any ID was taken to verify the identity. The representative stated he could not access the account because it has a restriction and refused to provide me with an address to mail out my dispute letter.

Consumer Complaint: I received an alert that a collection was placed on my credit file. Once I looked on there I notice a collection was placed with Midland Credit Management on XXXX and XXXX credit files. I have no acknowledgement of this debt or understand how it just appeared out of nowhere on my report, so I disputed it. Additionally, I never received a validation letter or any communication from the credit buyer through any other means. This was all stated in the dispute with the CRA 's, but miraculously came back as the company verified the information as correct. I don't know how that is possible when they never send out the notices required by law! This Company has done this is the past, and will now try and use the credit reporting agencies ( CRA ) and CFPB as middle men to try and pass validation/verification letters and other correspond through in hopes of it qualifying as their communication for FCRA purposes, instead of sending it via certified mail like the regulation requires. These crooks need audited!
