Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 Midland Credit Management was contacted through certified mail regarding a corespondence of an attempt to collect a debt in the amount of XXXX ( Midland account # XXXX ) The original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX was also contacted by certified mail letter in regards to disputing alleged debt. Midland Credit Management as of todays date XX/XX/2021 has never responded to written corespondence disputing this debt and a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA. I asked Midland Credit Mangement to provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay this debt buyer. Meanwhile XX/XX/2021 Original creditor XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX sent a response stating that the alleged debt I was referencing was sold to Midland Credit Management. I did not consent to any sale of any information between Midland Credit Management and XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. I was not aware of any exchange of information between these two entities. After written corespondence was sent to MIdland Credit Management I began recieving several harrasing phone calls multiple times of day to my personal celluar device from Midland Credit Management threatening " legal paperwork needing to be served upon me at my home or place of employment ''. I do not owe or have any obligations to pay Midland Credit Mangement any monies realted to any alleged debt. I am now due monetary remedy for violations of my rights under FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: Was contacted by Midland Credit Management. I asked them to send me a validated copy of said debt. They said they had already sent one, which I never received. If I wanted to see another copy, I would have to log onto my account they set up on their website. I asked to set up a payment schedule to call in and make agreed-upon amounts on agreed-upon dates. They refused and informed me that I would be sent to collections and contacted by an attorney from my area if I did not set up automatic payments with them.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit and their attorney purchased a closed account from XXXX XXXX and parked it on my credit reports and reporting inaccurate status as opened and current as of 2019. When disputing it with bureaus they refuse to change their status. I also sent them a letter of judgement proof because I am only receiving social security XXXX and they have initiated a small claims court case. Also they have been collecting credit reports without my permission.

Consumer Complaint: I've been working diligently to improve my credit, despite having difficulties with collection agencies in the past. I've done my research on debt collection practices and how to manage my personal finances better. I've been saving for quite some time to pay off my accounts and finally did. This was difficult as the collectors were unwilling to work with me at times. That said I was able to pay off the accounts by starting with a new slate on my credit. The collection agencies in question have not removed the accounts from my credit report yet the rest being damaged because of it. They informed me that they would stop reporting the accounts but haven't.

Consumer Complaint: Over the last 11 years I have been paying monthly and paid the last of it on XX/XX/XXXX of this year. Upon filing my taxes MCM failed to release me from the State of Michigan garnishments. I had no agreement for monthly withdrawals associated with a bank account throughout the 11 years. They made repeated attempts to get me to agree to a set amount, and if I failed that payment they would assess fees. Well that happened and a {$5400.00} fee was added to the debt. But I kept paying until it was done and I received the letter stating as such. So now they have taken {$1100.00} from my tax return from a garnishment issued from the court dated XX/XX/2020. 6 months ago. They failed to update my file with the state of Michigan. How many others out here are just like this? Paying to get free of debt and mostly the debt company 's that are difficult to work with. I paid this debt without discount! I over paid if full! Currently they will not receive my calls or respond after sending Emails to the president of Midland Credit Management, XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 Midland Funding added a derogatory mark for {$810.00} on my XXXX, XXXX, XXXX credit reports. Upon further research, this account was trasferred/sold and i am no longer responsible for the account. Debtor 's creditor did not verify this collection. Also there were NO written form of communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt and anybody can send a bill and say it's mines. According to the FCRA ( MIDLAND FUNDING LLC ) Has violated my rights as a consumer and i'm requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.
