Consumer Complaint: I have sued by Midland credit management , Inc because of credit card debt, they hired XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I can not recognize this account belongs to me, I filed an Answer that I denied all complaints, and ask the court to dismiss this case. I also sent a letter to this company to ask them to remove all credit reporting and stop attempting to collect this debt, meanwhile, I report to credit bureaus. Because they are failed to provide all evidence I requested, including the original agreement between me and the original creditor with my signature and interest that they use to calculate the total amount ; the agreement between the original creditor and them to prove that they own this debt. However, they had ignored my request and filed a motion for summary judgment. This is a violation of federal law.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management filed a a case in XXXX Superior Court, Civil Division XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. The case number is XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, a default judgement was entered awarding Midland Credit Management , Inc ( Midland ). {$2500.00} which included filing fees and court fees. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I sold my first home. The above referenced judgement was attached to the sale of the property and Midland was issued a payment in the amount of {$2300.00} ( the amount of original balance ) from my sale proceeds. Prior to XX/XX/XXXX, this collection account did not appear on my credit report. I argue that this was never a collection matter as Midland filed suit to recover the delinquent account balance. Furthermore, the balance has been paid and should be removed from my credit report. In summary, I am asserting that Midland has reported false information on my credit report and as such has negatively impacted my ability to obtain credit. This inaccurate information has been reported and filed with the three major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ). I would like this information to be removed from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: The lawyer collecting and I agreed on XXXX by XX/XX/2021 to settle the debt in full. 2 weeks later midland sent a credit update that shows it was never paid. I started disputing the information and provided bank statements and the agreement for payment. Midland denied this and continued to report as not payed. So I disputed with a second crediting agency. Now midland is reporting that I still owe a balance that was not agreed upon and the account is still open and behind and unpaid. So I submitted the letter from there lawyers stating that I have paid in-full as of XX/XX/2021 and this account is closed and not late as of XX/XX/2021. Which is dated before all of their bogus reports.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from Midland credit management inc, stating that I owe them an alleged debt. So I send them a letter asking to validate the alleged debt they claim I owe. In my letter, I asked them to provide me the following : 1. Name and address of alleged creditor. 2. Name on file of alleged debtor. 3. Alleged account # 4. Address on file for alleged debtor 5. Amount of alleged debt. 6. Date this alleged debt became payable. 7. Date of original charge or delinquency. 8. Was this alleged debt assigned to a debt collector or purchased? 9. Amount paid if debt was purchased. 10. Commission for alleged debt if collection efforts are successful. In my letter I also ask for the -Agreement with their client and grants Midland Credit Management Inc. the authority to collect this alleged debt. -Signed Agreement Debtor has made with Debt Collector, or other verifiable proof Debtor has a contractual obligation to pay Debt Collector. -Any agreement that bears the signature of Debtor, wherein agreed to pay Creditor. -All statements while this account was open. -Have any insurance claims been made by any creditor regarding this account? -Have any judgment been obtained by any creditor regarding this account? In my letter I also ask for the name and address of the bonding agent for Midland Credit Management Inc. in case any legal action becomes necessary. I also stated in my letter that if Credit Midland management inc fails to provide me with any of the above request, then all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file, and a copy of such deletion request shall be sent to me immediately. On XX/XX/2021. I received a respond from Midland credit management to my request of validation letter. They did not provide me with any of the above request I asked and all they responded was that their records are accurate. Since they can not validate this alleged debt, they were not able to prove that this alleged debt belongs to me and therefore, this alleged debt must be removed from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, my wallet was stolen. Previously I have lost my Police Report but now it found. My cards were listed as stolen when your company bought my debt. I have already paid you most of the debt and I want to resolve the issue without a trial. I do not intend to make payments anymore, and if you do not cease collecting the debt, I will go to court, with the involvement of the bank, who did not send me a new card in return for the stolen one, did not close my account and sold the debt on the stolen card.
