Consumer Complaint: Midland is reporting in my credit file however it is inaccurate because it was said to be late, yet all the payments are OK. I do not think that this is mine. I did my research on what to do because it is affecting my scores to badly, I asked for documents, disclosure and where did the account come from but they failed to provide me, so I came online and researched. The plaintiff is asking the same thing that I wanted and at the end of it all the plaintiff won this case. I am talking about the Texas VS Midland Funding Case. I have learned that Midland claims to have a disclosure and an agreement that there is a Consumer Agreement for all who they are collecting from. I guarantee you that there is no such thing that I have agreed upon to.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from Midland Credit Management dated XX/XX/2021 that demands I pay {$7700.00}, but this debt is NOT mine. I am a victim of identity theft and have successfully disputed this debt and had it removed years ago from both credit bureaus.. Midland Credit Management 's letter says to pay it in full by XX/XX/2021 or I'm being sued by an attorney. I want them to stop harassing me for a debt that is NOT mine, that I dispute, and continue to dispute, and further that is the result of identity theft and has been already disputed many times before now. Further, per Midland 's own policies, because I am receiving ONLY SSD I am not subject to their collections because that's my only source of income. This debt is NOT mine. I want them to stop harassing and threatening me to collect a debt that is not mine.

Consumer Complaint: Unbeknownst to me, I received an alert a few days ago from XXXX monitoring that I have collection activity. My mind was indeed blown as Im currently in the process of purchasing a home. Midland debt collection was listed on my credit report and I have no idea who/what this is for. So of course, I call and tried to piece the puzzle together. Unfortunately they couldnt give me much detail other than the original creditor and the amount owed. I asked for some type of documentation as I dont recall ever applying to this company. They basically repeated the same thing and wasnt helpful. I requested a debt validation letter and they could not provide. I asked for a contract/statement but to no avail. This is extremely frustrating as I have absolutely no idea how this could have happened to me!

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management calls me daily, attempting to collect a debt *for someone else*, a person that I do not know. I have told the reps who call MANY TIMES that I am not that person, I do not know that person, that I do not need their services, and to STOP CALLING ME. They will share information about the person 's ( they are looking for ) debt ( a violation of collection practices ), even after I inform them I am NOT that person. I block the number they call from, only to have them call from another number. I have tried getting them to understand that they have the wrong number, but they KEEP CALLING. I no longer answer their calls, but do immediately block the number when they find another to harass me from. How do I get them to stop?!?! Today 's call ( XXXX EST ) came from XXXX. To date, I have received their badgering phone calls from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX.
