When you pick up its a recording or a agent threating you with jail or a lawsuit if you dont pay immediately during this call. They dont tell you what the debt is for they just demand payment. This account has been paid off and I was promised a DELETION of this tradeline. The account was closed, then I paid this account off on XX/XX/2020. This account is still showing as an open balance on my XXXX report, and possibly all of my credit reports XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX! The refusal for these companies to correct their reports has COST ME ALOT in higher interest fees when I have tried to apply for credit! will these 3 companies be paying back the financial damages they have caused my credit???? Or will they be deleting the tradelines of MCM/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX? It is totally unfair that I should have to wait TEN MONTHS for the correction after I was promised it would only take 30 days!!!

Consumer Complaint: HI MIDLAND ; Im confused and stressed and shocked when I reviewed my credit report this week and I found multiple inaccuracies on my credit report from the 3 major credit bureaus from a collection company that I never have dealt with before. I've attempted several times to ratify the issue with the original creditors and credit bureaus and they still reporting inaccurate, unverifiable information. I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Consumer Complaint: Midland funding has filed a Jude gene that to garnish my wages again without notifying me. They did this in XX/XX/2020 and it is the same agency/lawyer so they do have correct address information to serve me. They purposely sent it to the wrong address so that I would not have the information to show up to my court date. I disputed information with them and gave them my correct contact information. It is embarrassing that I have to keep going through this and explaining to my employer and is causing a threat to my continued employment. I feel that this is harassment.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management is reporting a more than 4 year old account that has never been validated, is past the statute of limitations, was charged off by the creditor and taken as profit and loss account by the original creditor. The original account was for XXXX XXXX Midland Credit Management is employing unethical tactics such as re-aging the account. This should be shown as a charge off. They show monthly late payments over 90 days each and every month to make the account look currently late each month which is only an attempt to do the most harm to my credit. It is purposely inaccurate and is a misrepresentation ( XXXX v. CXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX v. XXXX, 775 F. Supp. 502, 505 ( D. Conn. 1990 ). I have contacted XXXX requesting validation, and informed them of their errors but they ignored my requests and my disputes. They made no attempt to validate, correct or stop during a dispute period. Instead they show on the report that they opened a collection XX/XX/XXXX and that it was last active XX/XX/XXXX with late payments made every single month since XX/XX/XXXX when no payments have ever been made. There actions violates several laws including but not limited to FCRA 15 U.S.C. 1681c, US Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, No. 00-15946, XXXX vs. XXXX XXXX, FCRA Section 623, FCRA Section 605 ( c ), FDCPA Section 809 ( b ), FTC opinion letter Cass from LeFevre, and FDCPA Section 806.
