Consumer Complaint: I received a notification that Midland Credit Management placed a collection on my credit report. I have had a payment arrangement in place since XX/XX/XXXX and six months later Midland Credit Management decides to place a collection on my credit report. Midland website even says, and I quote : " MCM believes in fairness and transparency around credit reporting. We do not report to credit reporting agencies for accounts that are more than two years old ( based on the date of delinquency ) and paid in full ( including accounts paid in full for less than the full balance ). We also dont start reporting on new accounts if your payments begin within three months after we send our initial letter and you continue making payments every month until the account is paid in full ( or paid in full for less than the full balance ). '' This account is over two years old and I have been paying the agreed upon amount every month for the last six months. Midland Credit should not be reporting a collection to my credit report for an account that I have been paying on faithfully. I have not received any notices or communication recently about this debt before being placed on my credit report. We are in a pandemic and I am barely making it financially yet I still make sure the payment is received every month. It does not make sense to add a collection to my credit report after payments have been made already to resolve this debt. Especially 6 months later. I want this collection from Midland Credit Management deleted from my credit reports immediately!

Consumer Complaint: I have an outstanding collections account with Midland Funding LLC. The debt was reported on XX/XX/XXXX. My husband started a XXXX and when we lost everything he XXXX XXXX leaving me with a huge amount of debt with no options to immediately repay it. I have made no payment on this account or worked with them in any way since they took over the debt. On XX/XX/XXXX they added {$3.00} interest and reported it as if the debt was new debt on XX/XX/XXXX causing my credit score to plummet 46 points. While I can't repay them at this time, I have been trying to clean up my credit but I'll never be able to when they report the old debt as current and I think this is a pressure tactic for me to pay them. I would but I can't and their actions make the situation even harder on me. I don't think their actions are legal or fair as my credit was just starting to improve and they have reset my situation to what it was 2 years ago.

Consumer Complaint: I have filed 3 different complaints. I still have no resolution. I have written letters and gotten no reply, called and can not get through on any phone number given and now have submitted 3 different complaints with no direct answer. This company uses stalling tactics. They now are stating that they will only contact me via mail. To date since early this year I have not received anything in the mail from the company stating they will or will not accept the offer I sent prior months ago. When will an offer be sent from Midland Credit? Midland Credit pays pennies on the dollar from the 2 creditors, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. An answer is needed if an offer will be sent and when or if no an offer will not be sent and the debt will not be reduced. I just want a simple answer, I am unsure as to why this is so difficult. I am trying to pay this but at a reduced amount or a payment plan.
