Consumer Complaint: Hey so I started with this company and they made me provide proof to get a SECURED cc. I gave a XXXX $ deposit. All of a sudden they started requesting proof of identity. Which I provided when I got the card for this secured card. My first problem was a charge from XXXX XXXX. They promised a credit and never followed through. I provided screenshots with names etc and Discover reversed the charge with the information provided. Which caused me to be over the limit. I continued to pay the bill. Then the last straw was stiffing me for my security deposit right as I was approaching my XXXX months. I would like my money refunded. I no longer care about having the card as it is now closed.

Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB rep, I tried to rebuild my XXXX XXXX by starting a deposit secured credit card. By using the deposit secured card i didnt know if I used more than a certain percentage of my limit it would lower my score significantly which it did. I closed a Discover account that was my own money secured credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I was fully paid with zero balance. I received a statement early XXXX that reflected my deposit was repaid when in fact it was not. I contacted them and they said the check was sent and they would call me back with info. I requested they not cancel any check sent to me and to give it time to arrive by mail. It did finally arrive on XX/XX/XXXX. I deposited the check in my bank but now my bank has rejected the deposit as the check did not clear on Discovers end. Now at a critical time of personal liquidity issues, my Bank has taken away my {$200.00} as the Discover check was bad and charged me an additional {$15.00} fee. It took them over 2 months for them to send me my deposit back and have stopped payment or given me a bad check. Please help me get my money and punish Discover as this can not be legal. Consumer Complaint: My XXXX report is wrong. It contains an account Discover Card Services which shows an ~ {$18000.00} balance that is not mine. It shows it is current with monthly payments being made. I don't have this account, I don't receive statements, I am not making payments on it. This would either be bad data, or a mixed ( credit ) file. I have reached out to contest this four times. It gets removed and Discover puts it back on. Attached are the dates and case numbers of the contests I have called Discover numerous times. I have been informed via the customer service, security team, XXXX team, charge verification teams that i DO NOT have an account either in credit card or loan departments with discover. They have verified to me that there is NO ACCOUNT with them tied to my SSN. Yet they keep putting this back onto my XXXX report. I have exhausted my options in communicating with Discover and want this removed from my file.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX at night, I initiated a payment from my XXXX XXXX XXXX account, realizing the fact that my autopay account ( XXXX XXXX ) doesn't have enough funds. When I submitted the payment the verbiage said, as I am submitting this payment my autopay will not happen. ( I tried to tell that to the company but they are saying did I keep a screenshot ). XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX, I saw they tried to pull the money from both accounts and hence had a return check fee charge from my checking account. I called both discover and my bank. Discover told me to wait till all of these gets posted and they can fix this. Bank said they have to charge this fee for returned XXXX. Now, today I see that they tried to get the funds again from the same account and hence got another returned check fee charged by my bank. 1. Discover charged me XXXX returned check fees which they were kind enough to credit me. 2. But I will have to pay the {$66.00} for a situation which I am not responsible for? I want the credit of {$66.00}. Thanks
