Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 A CHECK FOR {$42.00} WAS PAID BY THE BANK. THE INFORMATION ON THE CHECK WAS CLEARLY COPIED AND PASTED INTO THE CHECK AS WELL AS THE SIGNATURE, I CALLED THE BANK TO ADDRESS THIS FRAUDULANT TRANSACTION AND A FREEZE WAS IMMEDIATELY PLACED ON MY ACCOUNT, DENYING ME ACCESS TO MY FUNDS UNTIL " PENDING DEBIT CHARGES HAD BEEN POSTED, '' AT WHICH TIME THE BANK WILL CHANGE MY ACCOUNT NUMBER. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO MONITOR MY ACCOUNT FOR THESE " PENDING '' CHARGES TO POST. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT, VIA MY ONLINE ACCOUNT, THE BANK HAD LOCKED ME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. NOW THE BANK IS REQUIRING ME TO FILL OUT " FRAUD '' DOCUMENTS WHEN THE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THIS LIES SOLELY WITH THE BANK. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT MANY RETALIATORY ACTIONS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AGAINST ME/MY ACCOUNT FOR PAST COMPLAINTS I HAVE FILED. MY ACCOUNT REMAINS FROZEN AND MY FUNDS UNAVAILABLE.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Application denied
Consumer Complaint: I applied for a Discover credit card and received a denial notice. I tried calling however no rep was available. The Equal Credit Opportunity Act states that credit is the right granted. Me being denied is viewed as discrimination and defamation of character because this is placed on my credit account as being denied, I received a hard inquiry that has negatively impacted my score as well.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I placed an online order on XXXX using my discover card. Due to product quality and damage issues, I decided to return the entire order and received a label in my email from XXXX. I used this label to ship all of the merchandise back to XXXX and they refused to give me a refund. After discussing the problem with discover they started a claim and finally decided to not give me my refund either. They stated that XXXX provided them with a shipping tracking number that was different than the one i provided them and thus can not give me a refund. i provided them with document 1 with was a pdf copy of the email with the return instructions. document 2 is the attachment that was on that email which was supposed to be the shipping label. this was a label i used to return the product because that was the label that XXXX gave me when i requested the return. Document 3 is a screenshot to prove that the label is from the same attachment that was on the email. I even tried to forward the email to discover but their claim system only accepts pdf submitted through their website. discover is not helping me and seems to be ignoring me after multiple claims.
