XXXX provided XXXX shipping information stating that the package was dropped off at our building during the weekend. The entire building complex is closed on the weekend. XXXX has mailed the item with regular mail. XXXX can not help me since I am not the sender. Discover is stating that I must file a claim with XXXX despite the fact that I can not. Discover it is not honoring their credit card advertising commitment ; " Discover cardmembers have a {$0.00} Fraud Liability Guarantee, which means you're never responsible for unauthorized purchases on your Discover Card account ''. After speaking with Discover customer service earlier today, I cancelled my card that I had since 2008, and they are not willing to assist.

Consumer Complaint: I have been in contact with Discover several times over the last few months. A agreement to settle the balance was made and subsequently the payments have been made for XXXX of the 36 month of payments. After several unsuccessful discussions they advised that they would report the balance owed, monthly payment history, date of the last payment. The balance due would show the remaining 13 months of payments which is currently reflecting the higher balance to which the settlement was agreed upon. The amount should be aproximately {$3800.00}. The discussion and agreement with Discover is that the payment plan would be done in good faith. Their lack of action is being done with intent to harm me and cause me difficulties moving forward. While I was relieved that Discover agreed to make the change they have not provided this update to the creditor. I have also contacted Discover in a attempt to determine if a option of a lump sum payment could be agreed upon in XXXX. This has been ignored and to my surprise they have not taken the opportunity to respond and honestly deal with me as a consumer. My health has been very bad and have been given a one time opportunity to pay the amount if Discover would provide a discount for lump sum payment. I will need 60 days to get the funding and if agreeable will request that the company please provide me a letter with the amount they will settle all claims.
