Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I pre-purchased a XXXX XXXX for {$5700.00}. This was a purchase for an item that was to be delivered between XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. As time passed and I had not received any updates or information from XXXX, I decided to contact them. To my surprise, XXXX did not answer any of my e-mails, calls, voicemails, or online request forms. I began getting worried about a fraud situation, so I decided to start a dispute with Discover Card on XX/XX/XXXX. I submitted all of the e-mails, documents, invoice, etc to the credit card company, and to my surprise, the dispute was denied. I contacted the credit card company and they said that they needed some sort of document showing that XXXX did in fact owe me a refund. I explained that XXXX is not responding to any form of communication. I went online and found similar cases with XXXX, where the victims were issued a refund by their credit card company. I sent these cases to Discover Card, and still, my dispute was denied. I, as a consumer, feel that I was part of a fraud, and should be protected by my credit card company. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 an application was submitted to Discover for a credit card that was not done or authorized by me. My credit report was pulled and a hard inquiry was done, resulting in my credit score going down. The account was denied and not opened, but someone has my information. I have reached out to Discover, and they are going to change it to a soft inquiry, so it will come off my report in 90 days. I have also notified XXXX of the fraudulent inquiry and they are putting a security notice on my report for the next year, which will also go to XXXX and XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Formal Complaint - Incomplete Verification, Reporting Inaccuracies, and FDCPA Violation Discover card ending in XXXX XXXX I am writing to express significant concerns regarding Discover 's recent reinvestigation results on the account associated with my name. Discover 's failure to provide essential account-level documentation, inaccuracies in verification, and potential violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) have led to severe consequences. Discover allegedly verified information without furnishing necessary documentation, breaching 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) ( 1 ) and 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) ( 6 ) ( 1 ). Moreover, false credit information dissemination since about XX/XX/2022 has resulted in credit denials and harmed my record, indicating a breach of contract. I assert that Discover 's actions were willful and reckless, violating section 1681s-2 ( b ) of the FCRA. Additionally, potential FDCPA violations under 15 U.S.C. 1692e ( 2 ) ( A ) regarding late payments raise concerns about false representations of debt. Discover 's failure to conduct a thorough investigation and inaccurate reporting have caused distress, lower credit scores, and credit denial. Alleged violations of 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( B ) further compound these issues. I urgently request your attention to rectify these violations, safeguard my financial standing, and prevent legal action. Immediate corrective measures are crucial to restore accuracy and fairness in the verification process. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX XXXX XXXX
