Consumer Complaint: Hi, I am attempting to resolve an error where Discover is violating the law, nor are they practicing good business principles and they have not protected me by standing on their {$0.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are in violation of the Fair Credit Billing Act. I have called Discover fraud department ( in XXXX ) regarding a fraudulent charge of {$400.00} from a XXXX transaction on XX/XX/XXXX, they closed my account and issued me a new card. On XXXX XXXX I called them back advising it was NOT fraud and I allowed a family member to use it. ( ERROR ON MY END ) When I discovered the error on XX/XX/XXXX as my other credit card company and family member confirmed it was XXXX XXXX card used not Discover, I immediately called discover back to advised know it was an erorr on my end and to re open the original dispute as the initial charges still stands and it was indeed fraudulent from the beginning. I was dealing with several family member deaths and my mind wasn't in a sound place as I was mourning my loss with my family/ loved ones. I have called 4 months in a row on this matter and I am beyond exhausted on getting this resolved. Discover has not provided me any Legal written documentation or proof providing I have did business with this company and they refuse to issue me back the {$400.00} charge. Per the recorded calls they don't even have a phone number or proper documentation/ proof to give me to call to contact this company about the charge, this is not a fair business practice I hope we can get this handled collectively here. I am seeing the {$400.00} to be credited back to my account. This is exhausting and it is causing me so much stress/ time and extra charges on my account. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I discovered that some of the information on my credit report was incorrect when I reviewed it. Sections 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) and 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) require the 3 credit bureaus to validate this account ( A ). It is not permissible to fail to validate this reporting account as unverified information without providing any proof within the time frame specified by law. This is not a duplicate nor is this complaint being filed by a third party, I am filing this complaint myself. Please see this complaint is processed to the letter of the law. Consumer Complaint: I went into XXXX XXXX to have XXXX XXXXut on rims that i purchased for my new XXXX XXXX that already had tires and rims. Before he even puts the rims on that i purchased from XXXX he charges me {$130.00}. Than he comes back and says we broke one of your sensors so we have to charge you to put new ones and. How is that my fault? As long as you put XXXX sensors in fine he said yes turns out he put {$12.00} XXXX aftermarket sensors in my car that wont read my tires so i have to ride around with a safety message on and no tire message. He than says i have tires on sale that are {$50.00} per tire so it will only cost you XXXX plus the cost of the sensors and i will give you a credit for your current tires and rims. I have two sets of rims the ones that came on my car and the ones I purchased on XXXX so i didnt need the rims. He ended up charging me {$600.00} i didnt understand why he didnt have any receipt paper. The shop was already closed. Got in the car its driving weird the tires are stable and they are really loud he didnt put on the correct tires. Came back the next day to return the tires i asked him why did he lie and why did he steal my spare tire and why did he put the wrong tires on. He said it was late and his guy made a mistake and that he would issue me a refund and charge me for the correct tires. He advised me that they would be 20 inch tires. He never issued me the refund instead he charges me {$430.00} for once again the wrong tire size. I asked him for my tires back he told me know that he can make more money from my new tires and rims than what I have. The police got involved because he refused to return my vehicle. He charged my credit card for two sets of tires and two sets of rims a car can only have one pair of tires and rims. I have tried everything to get discover to issue me a refund due to the deception, the damage to the product and fraudulently misrepresenting prices and giving me the incorrect product i didnt get what I paid for. I was charged multiple times for the same thing. This is theft.This company is shady and a police report was filed. They have {$1100.00} of my money, my brand new tires and rims while i have a damaged vehicle with mix and match tires with faulty sensors. Under the fair credit act discover should have refunded the funds to my account but they are refusing

Consumer Complaint: I called into the service department months ago and I was asked about some charges that appeared on my student discover card. Those charges were not mine and they were disputed and taken care of. I then realized that fraudulent charges were on my card ranging back to XXXX of 2022. I submitted another dispute for each charge and they came back and declined those disputes. They basically said that I was making charges or still using my card in between the disputed charges. I already told Discover card that my credit card was never stolen, but someone had to have access to my credit card information. So I can see how this could easily happen. With that being the case I never noticed charges that showed up on my account that weren't mine. I'm a college student. This is my first credit card and I was unaware of how to check my account and was not checking it regularly. They also implied that I waited too long to dispute these charges. There are about {$800.00} in unauthorized charges on my account.

Consumer Complaint: The case against Discover Discover Card XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX In short, I have paid for an annual cell phone plan with a merchant, XXXX XXXX XXXX by using a Discover Card on XX/XX/2022. After the SIM card kit from the merchant has arrived, I was unable to activate new line or port my number for weeks from the previous carrier to XXXX XXXXBy XX/XX/2022 issues were still unresolved and I have finally notified the merchant about me moving on and have asked the merchant for a refund. They did not refuse to issue the refund it but they never issued one either. At that point, Discover Card was contacted and end result was their denial to issue a refund to me by confirming in mail how merchant does not issue refunds.

DISCOVER BANK said the check sheet was missing. i disagreed because i had copies of ALL the sheet i sent and the check sheet was among the sheets sent. the last communication with DISCOVER BANK was friday, XXXX XXXX, XXXX at which time i was told that XXXX handled the check page and she was not available, but would call me on monday, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NOT call. after 2 years of waiting for an investigation, i am now filing a formal complaint against DISCOVER BANK.
