Consumer Complaint: Credit acceptance compliance team is forcing me to proceed with a vehicle deal that is riddle with forgery, fraud & gross misrepresentation. This situation has become so much more than it appeared to have been on XX/XX/year>. Paragraph XXXX says I am filing legal action against the transportation company I hired because of the issues with the vehicle. 1 ) Please fully understand that the company I hired never picked up the vehicle. XXXX released the vehicle the day prior without my knowledge or consent. ( NEGLIGENCE ) a. Please note that when I finally got the opportunity to speak with her ( 1 week later ) & asked her why it was released she told me 2 or 3 times that she saw the logo of the company I hired on the truck. ( DECEPTION ) 2 ) The verbiage in the inspection report which is confirmed by video and photos clearly shows the poor condition of the vehicle. XXXX miles would not create all the issues that the vehicle has. a. The XXXX miles have become questionable also. The discrepancies in the title ( s ), 1 of which has been FORGED by someone at the dealership, the odometer statement coupled with the information provided in XXXX 's response clearly demonstrates that the vehicle could not have had XXXX miles on the odometer at the time of sale, at time of leaving their lot. ( FRAUD, DECEPTION ) I have sent in several pieces of documentation to support my claims stated above. As a result of these elements XXXX XXXX 's offer to work with me if I bring the vehicle back to their shop in New Hampshire doesn't seem reasonable or equitable. Again, this transaction is riddled with fraud, forgery, deceptive practices, and negligence. I would not feel safe driving myself or my kids in a vehicle that this dealership has repaired. It's my understanding that Dealerships in NH should have an Insurance Policy and or a XXXX XXXX to operate lawfully. Please note that I have requested this information from XXXX XXXX but have yet to receive it -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - Re : XXXX XXXX response to Credit Acceptances Compliance Officer response XXXX XXXX Nos : XXXX & XXXX Credit Acceptance Account XXXX Paragraph 2. The response says that the dealership told you that they mailed me the documents and that I signed them and mailed them back. a. Wouldnt I know that I retrieved documents from the mail and signed them? b. Why would I raise the issue? c. Is it not clear that the signatures are different? d. Did you ask for proof of said mailing by XXXX XXXXXXXX or did you simply take their word? e. You are in possession of at least two documents that have 2 different signatures on them. 1 ) Bill of sale & the 2 ) Application for MD Title Paragraph 2 further states that in any event, I acknowledge that I am the one that bought the XXXX and expressed that I want to keep it. That information is false. I do not want to keep the vehicle. This entire transaction is riddled with forgery, fraud, and gross misrepresentation of the vehicle. I DO NOT WANT ANY PARTS OF THIS Paragraph 3. The response says that you are sorry that I'm having mechanical issues and that I should use the XXXX XXXX contract to address these $ XXXX {$20000.00} worth of repairs or take the dealership up on their offer to return the vehicle to them in New Hampshire and let them do the prepares. a. Is it not understood that the cost of repairs is more than the price of the vehicle, is this not concerning to CAC as a lien holder? b. This repair invoice clearly supports my claim of gross misrepresentation of the vehicle by the dealer. There is no way that this vehicle passed NH XXXX XXXX. a. DOCUMENTS CLEARY SHOW Diesel parts purchased and installed ; Parts put on upside down!! The final paragraph of the response says that I suggest that the vehicle was damaged doing transport from New Hampshire to Maryland and further states that Credit Acceptance has no involvement in retaining the transportation company that was used. a. I, XXXX XXXX, had no involvement in retaining the transportation company that was used. b. Gross negligence -- the dealership released the vehicle without my knowledge or consent c. Fraud/misrepresentation -- and then lied about who they released it to. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I had a car loan through Credit Acceptance Corporation, the car was totaled in a car accident. On XX/XX/2023, I received a notarized letter from them along with the title for the car via registered mail stating that I had been released from the XXXX. About a week later i received a letter stating that my wages were being garnished due to defaulting on the auto loan. I called Credit Acceptance and asked for an explanation, the representative I spoke to told me to disregard the letter and not to worry since I had been sent a notarized release of XXXX and had the title. Not only were my wages garnished starting XX/XX/2023 ; Credit Acceptance has also been reporting to all 3 credit bureaus that I have not made any payments on the loan from the start of the loan to now. This is not only inaccurate but has caused me tremendous financial strain. Due to their false reports to the credit bureaus, I have not been able to get a new car because it appears that I have an un-paid open loan. And due to my wages being wrongfully garnished, I was ultimately forced to resign from a job I loved because I had to move out of state due to not having a vehicle and my wages being cut. Credit Acceptance Corporation has violated my rights per 15 US Code 6801 - Protection of Non Public Information, I never gave written permission for them to furnish my non public personal information on any reports. They have also violated 15 US Code 6802- Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information & 15 US Code 6803 - Disclosure of Institution Privacy policy. They have also produced inaccurate information on my credit report. They are also in violation of 15 US Code 1681 and US Code 1681b. I was also never given the option to opt out of my information being reported in the first place which is my right as well.
