Consumer Complaint: I had loan with credit accetance.. They illegally turned the truck of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Then forced illegal repo.. They falsley made inaccurate and malicious inquiries on my report since XX/XX/XXXX. I have proof of everything and i want this loan cleared off my debt and shown paid in full. Since the illegally repoed it and ruined my credit since. I made 28/32 payments on time until the illegally repoed it. I have contested this as far back as XX/XX/XXXX. Had it taken off my credit. I have proof of this illegal repoesssion and illegall garnishment. This is when i said ibam fighting back and going to sue.. Credit Acceptance.. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX Court for granting these garnishments due to illegal documents and illegal repossesion. I have bought all documents that Credit Acceptance submitted to be granted these judgements as well as the transcripts. Where the judge advises me to hirr a lawyer 3 times. This has affected my livelyhood since everything is based on credit. From car loans, personal loans and insurance. I have statements for insurance and XXXX XXXX also my credit union denying me help. And credit statement that states ib have hired XXXX to help dispute and prove this malicious inquires made by XXXX XXXX. I also went back and printed out past history reports that prove thatvcredit acceptance has went back adding false reports to try and cover there XXXX. I have 5 different credit reports. Old and new. Also XXXX just approved my dispute in XX/XX/XXXX after i called and spoke to a reprensatitve and sent them proof of all this. I also have phone recordings proving why my payments was agreed and pushed back by Credit Acceptance after they sold my car at auction. By XXXX before my terms of getting the truck back. Again illegal actions. Example So XXXX payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. Now due XX/XX/XXXX. They turned truck off XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX. Sent me repo threats. I have copy.. And spoke to on XX/XX/XXXX made the payment arrangement for XX/XX/XXXX. Since i had to rent a car to work. Because the turned it off XX/XX/XXXX. They repoed the truck before i could make XXXX paymwnt due. XX/XX/XXXX and inwas paying XXXX payment ahead which was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. This is the Illegal repo that i am speaking of and have reciepts for the rental car, statements of truck being shut off and forcing me to miss XXXX BBQ. Then the same day they illegal repo my truck they alrrady posted it on my credit. Stopping me from getting a new car. And lowering my score 67 points to a low XXXX. ALSO REPORTING THIS JOINT DEBT AS A INDIVIDUAL DEBT WHEN ALL THEY HAVE IS A JOINT CONTRACT. Well it 23. % and I could have paid cash at the time but wanted to work on credit. Consumer Complaint: The Credit Acceptance Company was granted the right to garnish my wages beginning XX/XX/XXXX. Issue one is that i had no prior knowledge of this. There was no contact with me to try and work something out. I was notified of this garnishment by my HR on XX/XX/XXXX by email. Issue two I already have a trumping 25 % deduction come from my gross income. Needing what I make to care for not only myself but also my XXXX nephews and my XXXX. Who was recently injured and unable to fulfill his job requirements. That Monday XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to beg for them to stop the garnishment. Would receive voicemail leave a detailed message. As of XX/XX/XXXX I am still waiting for a response with no relief on my pay I will receive XX/XX/XXXX. Leaving me in a position where I must have been forced to look for another job to help ensure the care of my family is met. Issue 3 when I agreed to obtain this vechile the loan I amount agreed to was around the XXXX dollar mark. I took possession of the vehicle in early XXXX payment arrangements were settled at around 220 every two weeks. ( Which equaled up to 440 monthly. ) May have been late and also one recovery of the vechile in XXXX. That I will not denie however they didnt repo the car untill summer of XXXX. Moral being from looking at their outstanding balance which reflects ofer XXXX. Which I honestly do not agree with due to having made pmts for 2 years. Then once they did repossess the vechile I continued contact, at which time I was informed XX/XX/XXXX the vechile was being sent to auction. I was informed and insured they would contact me with action price and balance left on account. At which time I was also informed that from that there would most likely be a XXXX balace due to not oweing much more towards the loan. I accepted the information and waited for futher contact on this information. Unfortunately it never came and was unable to connect with them due to time issues. ( My work start/end and their hours. So contact was never connected. ) I was continuously dircted to a voicemail. When I requested to speak with someone that was available I was left with zero information as an ending result. This was due to represnitve not having knowledge of my account. So I was left with no alternative to finding out any information. After about my XXXX call I was informed that the representative that was in charge of my loan information/ payments ect. wasnt going to be in the office for about two weeks due to prescheduled vaction time. Was informed apon her return she would contact me. It was at this point i decided to wait for her to reach out. It was at this point all contact was lost and never regained due to not fault of my own. Years later I only recive court documents that were not even sent to me personally but left to the hr department at my job to provide them. Then looking over the estmated pay off date of XX/XX/XXXX is impossible to reached. At this time I feel as though this was done without my knowledge or consent. Which takes from my income I use to provide with. Futher more punished for their lack of communication. For I made many attempts to reach out with no answer or resolution. Nor the exsact information regarding the auction price/full amount of payments deduction/ and final ptice owed. Now I am back at square 1 with the lack of communication and garnishments equaling out to 50 % deduction as well as medical and taxes. Placing great strains on ensuring the basic needs of my family are met.

Consumer Complaint: I have a car loan with Credit Acceptance Corp ( XXXX, MI ) I entered into a payment plan of weekly payments in the amount of {$130.00}. They at some point change their close of month date so although Im on reoccurring payments every week on saturdays to be auto drafted out of my checking account, the month close day aye a week before my last pay in that month. Which then reflects as a late payment on my end for that month. I have not missed a payment yet the close of month date for the company changed in turn effected hoe the report to all 3 credit bureaus. Each month they reported my account late drastically affecting my credit score and has caused me not to be able to obtain another vehicle loan with any company Ive applied for. In XX/XX/XXXX I expressed my concerns with the company and not 1 representative mention the companies monthly close date in XX/XX/XXXX. Called again and no one was able to tell me why, finally in XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with a representative and she explained why. On XX/XX/XXXX, I payed a week forward so that my payment would show completed in their close of month cycle and be calculated as an on time payment and asked my account can be monthly on my due date instead of weekly to insure my account is paid on time and within the close of month cycle. Since then they still have reported it late

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I contacted credit acceptance to discuss temporary financial hardship due to NM state closing various businesses and allowing only essential personnel to work with 10 employees or less due to the coronavirus. When I spoke with the gentleman, he stated they still expect payment but they will stop all collection calls during this natural disaster. They state they can not defer payments and have no intention to do so even though people are affected due to layoffs and inability to work. There are no contingency plans for this disaster with this company during a national crisis. I was also informed that they will still report your late payment after 30 days but will help by using a special code reporting its due to a natural disaster. Ridiculous.
