Consumer Complaint: 2016 account was closed! I did a voluntary repossession and report says involuntary! Also account has been closed and company ( credit acceptance ) has added {$10000.00} to bill in the last year or two. I tried to settle for a few thousand a couple of years ago! That's when I found out that they had added {$10000.00} to the account that has been closed. And also that they are claiming it to be an involuntary repossession. All three bureaus say different things!

Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/2021, I recieved a call from my now ex-wife saying that she wanted to buy a car and all she needed was was my paystubs to get it. At first I was skeptical but she explained to me that everything would be alright. At first I didnt know too much about credit as noone had ever taught me anything about it. I had no idea my own ex would scam me into to sending info about work information. It wasnt until about XX/XX/XXXX when I checked my credit and noticed a missed payment from the company known as Credit Acceptance. I had them send me login information based off a past loan I did with them and it says I was on another loan as buyer of the car along with the co-buyer XXXX XXXX which is my ex 's mother and someone I am not affiliated in any kind of way with. The name of the car dealership New Jersey XXXX XXXX XXXX. I dont even drive the car and im being hel responsible for something I never was even present to sign for.

XXXX is reporting past due 120 days the other 2 are reporting repo. This is enough to remove or delete from credit.balance on XXXX and XXXX are the same while XXXX is no showing XXXX. I was informed the monthly payment that was divided into bi-weekly payments will help lower the interest rate of 22.99 % if paid on time and be able to pay off early. Initially the car purchase was {$15000.00} and the total amount financed was {$20000.00}. I've paid a total of {$19000.00} to date and still have a remaining of {$16000.00} ; which is incorrect. The early payoff option available is {$12000.00}. I've paid more than 90 % of the financed amount and should be given the option to pay {$920.00} to pay off the loan in full. I was informed misinformation and the account was set up with payments to reduce the length of the loan.

I paid it off in full XX/XX/2020 with no remaining balance. This account should NOT be considered a charge off/collection account. I have sent two letters to credit acceptance with NO response from them so I am asking for your help. I had XXXX in XXXX and got behind in this auto payment but always paid it so its really disheartening that they have put it under a collection/charge off because this was never the case.
