Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance has fraudulently reported to my all three credit bureaus, they have lied about it and ruined my credit, also did not honor the Covid 19 assistance issues. Many times over the current loan, the balance has increased after payments Since the XXXX month into the loan, thankfully I just got my credit reports and found this fraud??? Not good... They do this to many people I have read and I want my balance corrected! They are crooks and have had a mutil million dollar settlement they have to pay for doing this to customers and I just checked today and it is still happening, unreal... Please help me as I am XXXX, as many are I have read. They are terrible for doing this to folks. I have reported them to the XXXX as well, as many many customers have. Its time to give people the justice they deserve and shut this company down.

Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX XXXX XXXX, who is submitting this CFPB complaint myself, and to inform you that there is no third party involved in the process. I have a loan with CREDITACPT. I have always made my payments on time yet there was a 120-day late state. Another thing, this was an illegal repossession followed by illegally reporting on my credit report ; this should have been investigated and corrected immediately. I tried contacting XXXX and XXXX Credit Bureaus requesting a complete payment history with this account for me to review the exact date on which the late payments and repossession were posted. Unfortunately, there was no successful resolution provided nor feedback heard from the concerned Bureaus. There was definitely an error on their part. The bureaus are condoning illegal behavior and willfully in violation of FCRA. REMOVE THIS REPOSSESSION ACCOUNT COMPLETELY FROM MY CREDIT REPORT.

Consumer Complaint: I was a co-signer on the loan. This car was for my niece. She had an accident and did not want the car and stopped making the payments. I had no idea any of this happened until the company started calling me. My sister contacted the company and told them to come get the car. They did not go get it. My stepfather took the car back to the dealer and they would not take it. The dealer is now out of business and the car has been in the same spot since. It has been almost 4 years and this is still on my credit report and is the ONLY thing blocking me from buying a house.

Consumer Complaint: Credit Acceptance Corporation XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Michigan Numbers calling from XXXX XXXX I have gotten repeated calls from this auto loan creditor, the calls I ignore and they will call from a different number sometimes within an hour early morning hours, late in the evening, all weekend. I blocked the numbers they just will call from a different number. The car was voluntary repossession back in XXXX they came and got the car, sold it, and still reporting missed payments on my credit report and not the correct amount owed. It is harrassing and inconvenient, they leave voice messages. I am attaching my call history with those numbers some I don't know because if it is blocked or or my phone service recognized the vendor it show up as a scam call that don't show me a phone number. Consumer Complaint: Company refuses to stay in compliance with governor XXXX XXXX executive order banning any report of negative information to credit bureaus. This company has late payments on my credit report they refused to remove that cost me a {$400000.00} mortgage approval that got denied along with over a {$3000.00} a month XXXX House bill. I currently have four different attorneys reviewing this case that all the assured me that this is 100 % illegal and Im giving this company one last chance to update my credit report to stay in compliance with the executive order. This is abuse and they know it, this is a game to them but its about to end now and one hell of a legal battle. Not to mention they are reporting that my monthly payment is over {$900.00} per month. They know that my payment is {$450.00} per month. They have been abusing my credit utilization by not reporting my balance and also reporting a high monthly payment that they know is inaccurate because they are trying to harass and abuse my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I financed a XXXX XXXX through credit acceptance with XXXX miles back in 2016. The car sales price was around {$10000.00} of the car lot at a payment of approximately {$500.00} a month. What I didnt understand was how high the interest rate was on the loan its somewhere about around 25 %. I payed on the vehicle for two years straight no late payments and fell on hard times and I did not understand the terms that were given when the loan was originated and the vehicle was repossessed. They then auctioned off the vehicle for {$2000.00} and got an order to garnish my wages for {$12000.00}. That more then what the car was worth when I bought it. The vehicle also needed a new transmission and which was a {$3000.00} repair and made it it impossible to drive. I then had to pay for an attorney to stop the garnishment and had to pay {$200.00} a month. I cant afford {$200.00} a month because I still need transportation.

Consumer Complaint: My vehicle was involved in a flood a natural disaster. I had my vehicle financed. I had insurance as well as gap insurance. I was told by Credit Acceptance on 2 separate occasions that nothing would be owed on my end only to for them to mark me as late on a debt that was supposed to be cleared. They mark me late every month on loan that I know longer have and it has literally killed my credit. They have not closed the loan out at all like they should have and it has been over a year now.
