Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, and I am sending this request myself to address the inaccuracies on my Credit Reports. I have a loan with CREDITACPT XXXX Balance Owed : {$12000.00}. I have always made my payments on time yet there was a 120-day late state. Another thing, this was an illegal repossession followed by illegally reporting on my credit report ; this should have been investigated and corrected immediately. I tried contacting 3 Credit Bureaus requesting a complete payment history with this account for me to review the exact date on which the late payments and repossession were posted. Unfortunately, there was no successful resolution provided nor feedback heard from the concerned Bureaus. There was definitely an error on their part. The bureaus are condoning illegal behavior and willfully in violation of FCRA. PLEASE REMOVE FROM MY REPORT IMMEDIATELY.

Finance With Credit Acceptance. I have sent all documentation requested by Credit Acceptance Finance and they have yet to settle the claim. I purchased the Gap Insurance and when asked to discuss this insurance i am transferred to a representative that does not even have an insurance license to discuss the matter of the policy. Credit Acceptance continues to report a late payment on a totaled vehicle they will not cover, or charge off purposely causing harm, as their bogus GAP insurance does.

This company has policies that make it impossible to pay off your car loan. They cap the amount you can pay at a Time online, and they also like to return a refund payments for no reason also there have been payments of mine that have gone missing and I believe that I had to pay this car off twice. On XX/XX/XXXX I made my final payment to pay off the payoff quote which they only allowed to be good for 24 hours thus having caused me to have to scramble within those 24 hours to make the payments on time. They claimed that I did not make the appropriate mark on the form saying that my Gap refund amount be included or not but I did however do what I was supposed to do to properly close the loan. The lady on the phone misled me into doing it again getting a different charge off quote for what was already basically paid for that didn't reflect in the system thus forcing me to have to pay it again to close off my loan that was on XX/XX/XXXX they waited the exact 20 days to release my loan my title however I have not gotten the extra payment I was forced into making or my Gap refund back and now I can't even get a hold of them on the phone or find it get any access to my payment history. They have lied to me I've been jumping through their hoops this whole time they charged me outrageous interest rates and the people on the phone lie they are rude and they still haven't given me my money but whenever I pay late which I never have I would have been charged I outrageously ridiculous amount but yet they can't pay me per their own contract my money back that they forced me into paying over.

Consumer Complaint: I financed a vehicle from Credit Acceptance a few years ago. In XXXX of 2021 I traded the vehicle in. The dealership sent the check out and it was cashed. From XXXX til XXXX I kept receiving calls from Credit acceptance say that my account was passed due. And each time they told me they hadn't received a check or payment. I called the dealership provided Credit acceptance with the check date and number and they could not find it in the system. Finally someone asked if I would give them permission to speak the dealership that I went to about my account to which I agreed. Credit Acceptance spoke to the dealership in late XXXX and the dealership faxed them all the proof that the check was sent and cashed. As it turned out the check had been stolen. Since the check was in fact sent and they now had all the evidence and a replacement check Credit Acceptance agreed to close out the account and fix and errors on my credit. They closed out the account XX/XX/2021 but never corrected the errors.I have called many times since and I still haven't received the dispute paperwork they said they would send out. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau but, Credit acceptance said all the information was accurate so I have these things stuck on my credit saying I was past due even tho they agreed to fix it.

He is a swindler thief and i want my money he owes me out his chase account this money i gave him was money for my vehicle to be registered with dmv he never gave me not a penny of my money back period this fake person is not welcome in Nothing of mines with government nor anybody thats like him. The vehicle i would end up financing was a " USED '' XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX with XXXX miles on it. The Annual percentage rate was " 22.99 % '' the " Finance Charge '' was " {$17000.00}. With a down payment of {$1500.00} the " Total Sale Price '' was {$40000.00}. Beginning on XX/XX/XXXX. Credit Acceptance violated consumer protection and debt collection laws and regulations. It was alleged that Credit Acceptance made unfair and deceptive auto loans to thousands of consumers, provided investors with false or misleading information regarding auto securities they offered, and engaged in unfair debt-collection practices. I am a natural living breathing person and a consumer, i am a victim of Credit Acceptance Corp. and am and will be seeking remedy for the repossession of my vehicle that was illegally repossessed and resold without my Knowledge of the opportunity of rescission. Credit Acceptance failed to inform me of my consumer rights. The Interest rate of 22.99 % was predatory and viscous. I recently pulled my credit report from your Bureau and my attorneys and I had a chance to go over my credit report and in amazement, that you have decided to report me 30 days late on this account in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and 60 days late in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and 90 days late in XX/XX/XXXX as well as 120 days late in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Because I take my credit very seriously, I contacted every name and account that was listed on the report. I was again very shocked by the multiple names, account numbers and figures. Included with this letter, is every letter written to those who have hampered my ability to obtain credit. I believe that any judge that looks over the report would agree that it is a violation of both the FCRA, CCPA and FACTA. The following accounts were listed on your report and I have demanded from them a full accounting and five years worth of records to see if their accounts were in violation of the FAIR CREDIT BILLING ACT ( FCBA ). We also demanded signed contracts, agreements or any legal paperwork that would tie us to the following accounts. Under the FCRA, you are required to conduct an investigation on this account if I request it.
