Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX, I recieved a bill from the company Convergent. It was for charges to XXXX 's. I have never even done business with XXXX 's. It said on the collection how to dispute the debt. It looks fishy, like they are trying to get someone with my name to acknowledge the debt and they collect it. I do not trust these scammers out there. I am not responsible for this debt and I have mailed a letter to them along with a copy of the bill they sent me. I know there are other people with my name, and this is NOt my bill. This company needs investigated. This is the first bill I have ever received from them. The Company is : Convergent, Convergent Outsourcing, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WA XXXX Phone # XXXX. They state as of XX/XX/XXXX I owe {$820.00} They never show any other detailed charges or interest incurred. I have never has any bill with so many ways and information of disputing the bill. The bill looks fishy.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I checked my credit report for the first time and found XXXX negative collection debts totaling close to $ XXXX. All of the collections come from XXXX and Convergent Outsourcing, and they are from what seems to be utility companies or being affected by natural disasters or declared disasters in TEXAS. My credit report shows all the collections linked to XXXX Texas Addresses : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX Texas XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Texas XXXX I contacted the three credit report agencies to dispute the collections as identity theft, and so they could remove the texas addresses, they said all collections were linked to the texas addresses and that someone was using my identity because I have never been or even lived in Texas. I live in California. The credit companies could not remove the collections until I prove I did not open them by contacting Convergent and XXXX, but when I talk to those companies, after hours of going back and forth, they hang up on me. I feel frustrated. I will file a police report tomorrow morning.

I also contacted Convergent Outsourcing directly and they have to response to my multiple requests for them to verify this debt actually belongs to me with a signed written agreement as the Fair Credit Laws entitle me.

Consumer Complaint: This company has reported this debt on my credit reports as being owed and that is inaccurate. I do not have a signed contract with this company nor an agreement stating i owe this account or company. I have attempted to contact this company on many occasions with no resolution. I have also submitted disputes to all 3 credit bureaus for them to validate this debt and to provide the written and signed contracts for this company reporting the debt as well as verifying and validating the amount owed and the accuracy of this reporting. They are not disputing this with the company nor providing the requested documentation. This still has not been removed from my credit reports which has caused me to be denied for credit and I have advised them of the FCRA laws and requested these be removed. Please request for this to be removed asap. Thanks
