Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I attempted to convert XXXX Pax Gold from Block Fi into Omisego or OMG in Coinbase. I incorrectly attempted a conversion of an unsupported coin in Coinbase. There were no warnings in real time I would not be able to do this transaction. They do have provisions in their user agreement regarding this. I strongly believe they should have some kind of warning system, review system or rejection system before these types of transactions are done. I reached out to them and was advised they have a record of the transaction but could neither convert it nor return it and that my money ( {$25000.00} ) was simply lost. They advised a vague confirmation of a recovery, for certain coins, " sometime in the spring '', and would neither confirm or deny my coin would be on the list. I asked them for a decrypted private key for the transaction so I could find another wallet that would convert Pax Gold and they would not provide it. I offered them a fee to either convert or return the transaction and they advised they would or could not. They make it very easy for someone to attempt incorrect conversions and have no checks or balances when someone does. Their customer service is extremely poor, with no live support whatsoever. I do not believe a mistake that can take less than a minute be worth losing {$25000.00}. Their platform makes it incredibly easy for these types of transactions to happen. Their response is they have no interaction with the blockchain. They have the responsibility of handling transactions, but take no responsibility for user error at the same time.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/21 I send a case to Coinbase to flag some unauthorized transactions on my account. My account was disabled and I was told it would be resolved in 10 business days. I have followed up multiple times since then because I can not access any of my cryptocurrency accounts in this time. I have followed up since then because the case is not resolved and my account is still disabled but I get no response.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with Coinbase and things seemed okay for almost a week. Then with no explanation, my account access was blocked, and I can not log in. I have sent 6 emails, asking for help, and I received one automated email saying they were looking at the cause of the problem. I sent a follow-up email asking for an update, and received a reply saying the case was closed. - However, my account is still locked. I opened another case via email, and received the same reply that the problem was going to be reviewed. I have sent 3 additional emails asking for an update, but now I get no reply 's at all. At first, I thought perhaps their system was having a problem, but with the lack of customer notification and contact, it is my sincere belief that they allow an account to be opened, and then they freeze the account after crypto positions are purchased, perhaps to ensure the positions can not be sold as the market drives their value lower. In one of my emails, I asked they either unfreeze my account, or sell the holdings and send me the proceeds. ( Again no response at all XXXX This company has no customer support by phone, except to report fraud on your account, which causes the account to be shut down. - No one will speak with me. At this point, I believe I have been scammed out of nearly {$600.00}. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated. I am not unreasonable - If someone from Coinbase could at least explain what the problem or issue is, maybe I would not be feeling like they are a scam company that needs to be investigated. My account has been un-accessible Since XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, First I am scared, frustrated and XXXX XXXX on the issues I am having today with Coinbase. My account was compromised and {$7500.00} was taken from my bank account and transferred to Coinbase. I tried to get into my account and I couldn't because my old phone number not sure how but it was still on the website. I called up Coinbase and their customer service is non-existent and it is automated messages to say your account was compromised and no real customer service. Their emails are just automated messages to shut you up and " try '' to help. I had to text my old number embarrassingly for the code. Once I got in, there was no money and everything seemed to be wiped clean. There was no transactions on the account and I couldn't do a thing. So, I filed a claim with XXXX and they sent my complaint out. After a few days I got a reversal of {$7500.00}. I thought great my money is back and it's solved. One day later, Coinbase emailed me and said I owed them {$7500.00} I'M AT THE BREAKING POINT, THERE IS NO ONE TO CALL ON COINBASE AND I'M JUST FRUSTRATED. I BEG OF YOU TO PLEASE HELP ME. I have all the documentation and I just want to talk to someone at coinbase. I just get endless lies of a " specialist '' coming to help.
