Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted CoinBase because the phone with my authenticator app broke. I needed that to enter an authentication code to access my account after enter my username/password. I needed them to remove that check. This happened once before and at that time they ask that I submit a copy of my driver 's license and maybe some other info. I was informed on XX/XX/XXXX after I made that request that they already had all the relevant documentation due to my previous submissions and that I should expect a resolution in 48-72 hours. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted them again and asked them what the delay was and I would be willing to provide any additional info they may need. I received the following response. " Please be informed that we can not expedite the review process. You still need to wait for 48-72 hours for the process to be completed. You will receive an email confirmation once it was completed. No further action on your part is necessary at this time. If we have any need for further information, we'll be sure to reach out. '' I contacted them again a week or two later and this time got no type of response. I contacted the XXXX about a week ago and that got no traction. So at this point I'm just starting to go down the list of any governmental agency that can help. I really want to avoid having to take the legal route.

Consumer Complaint: I have been subject of theft and financial crimes. My account was with the firm called Coinbase, Due to no help form coinbase I hired qualified Private investigator which found the suspect, I have even informed coinbase and asked them to help me with reporting to law enforcement which they do not, Please note that the private investigator mentioned to Me that aside from my coins, the suspect had approximately {>= $1,000,000} worth stolen crypto coins in his account as of XXXX, 2020. Using todays valuations, this translates into over {>= $1,000,000}. I have exhausted all procedures made available to me by coinbase, all computer-generated responses to request the un-freezing of my account. Companys responses have been disappointing and unprofessional, to say the least. Furthermore, your lack of timely attention for assisting me to unfreeze and gain access to his account is on the level of obstructing justice, as it is preventing me from cooperating and providing information to law enforcement, It is also preventing him from meeting his tax compliance responsibilities. We further believe that the manner in which Coinbase handles such issues is conducive, advantageous, and beneficial to the thieves who are hacking accounts held by you in their exchange. Through these events, we have come to realize that your policies and terms of services are unfair and unconscionable business practices. They are unilaterally self serving, and have placed me and other account holders, in a similar situation, at risk of being defraud ed. We b elieve this constitutes a breach of agreements and fiduciary duties on your part.

The CoinBase Case # XXXX was created. I had since requested to regain access to my account multiple times since XXXX. I have received emails from CoinBase asking me to provide ID for verification, which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. Then on XX/XX/21, I was asked to create a new Coinbase account, which I did. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase is a scam. They do not respond or answer the phone. I accidentally flagged my account as compromised and there is no way to reach the company via phone, online ticket or email. They do NOT respond to anything. They will happily take your money and lock you out of your account, never to get back in, thus keeping your money.

Consumer Complaint: so i had a Coinbase account from XXXX i used it alot as i was investing ang storing my savings on it using bitcoin, i had around XXXX $ on it. and at XXXX, they diabled my account, labeling it as it was " XXXX just temporarily '', then i contacted the support i told them about my problem but they didnt give me any solution, and from that day i kept sending tickets to the support team, day after day, but always they reply me by, CASE CLOSED, even if i have my money on it, they didnt give me access to my own funds which is basically an obvious fraud, since they can have access to it, and they didnt give me access to my own account, and untill now i still send them messages and tickets, but they either dont reply or they say again case closed, i seriously need my money back!
