Issue: Managing, opening, or closing your mobile wallet account

Consumer Complaint: I received emails from Coinbase informing me that twice the amount of money I had authorized for them to withdraw from my checkings account had actually been withdrawn. I contacted them for a detailed report of the withdrawal and a receipt and did not receive anything. They then automatically flagged my account and locked it. I changed my password for security purposes but was still not able to log into my account to access my assets. The following are dates in which I contacted Coinbase support : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX I received canned responses from support on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX that did not answer any of my questions or address the issue. My account has been locked for over a month with no status update. Many others have been experiencing the same issue and their customer support is nonexistent.

This time, my transaction never hit the block chain and its been left on pending for approximately 15 hours. Coinbase XXXX did not provide me with a transaction ID and my balance still says I have the approximate XXXX XXXX, but i can not touch them as they are still " pending '' I contacted Coinbase and they did not help me. this is a lot of money to be messing with. Consumer Complaint: Hello. At XX/XX/XXXX I registered an account at Coinbase.com and invested some funds into cryptocurrency. At XX/XX/XXXX ( ten days ago ) I tried to enter my account at Coinbase.com. I couldn't do it because this requires authentication through SMS, and I had lost access to the number that used to register this account ( I don't think, that this is a really extraordinary situation when a person changes his phone number after 7 years had passed ). I created a ticket to XXXX support, and I was asked to register a new account and upload ID documents to verify my identity. The same day I did it, and the same evening I got an email from XXXX support saying that my identity was verified. Below there is my correspondence with XXXX support concerning this issue : The email I received on the mailbox of my temporary account : XXXX, XXXX. XXXX at XXXX XXXX You're ready to invest! We've verified your account. You're all ready to invest in crypto. > So right now it's been 10 days since I last heard from XXXX support. Two days ago I wrote personal messages to official XXXX accounts on XXXX XXXX : XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Both account are listed on official XXXX website hXXXX XXXX XXXX I politely asked them to give me any information regarding my case - how is it progressing and how much time would it take to resolve it. Since now, I didn't receive an answer, not from XXXX account, nor from XXXX XXXX XXXX. That reluctance to communicate makes me disturbed about the future of my cryptocurrency stored at coinbase.com My issue is registered at XXXX support as case # XXXX.

I'll be more than happy to disclose in more detail these transactions and whatever else to do so. I am writing you because ( I have been locked out of my account due to what I highly speculate is that there was a bug with the fingerprint authentication leading to being locked out of my funds. The new 12-word mnemoic phrase for my empty wallet is EXACTLY the same which I can screenshot for proof as well ) : -The customer service team has not fully resolved Case # XXXX ( prematurely closed ), now Case # XXXX. Under the " Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980 '' and from XXXX ( will be the last point ) - The supplier has the necessary skill to provide the service -The service will be provided with proper care and diligence - The materials used will be sound and that good supplied with the service will be of merchantable quality - " ... This means that if you lose your recovery phase, you will lose access to your Coinbase Wallet ''. I never lost it so when it locked me out, I should have been able to log back in. Makes sense right? Well, that's not what happened and that's why I am submitting this complaint today. This crypto wallet has become inaccessible no fault of my own and I need Coinbase Wallet to do the right thing and redeem my funds.

Because of this lock, I have no access to my XXXX, which now are valued at {$320.00} ( as of XX/XX/XXXX ). I have made multiple attempts to contact Coinbase and they have closed my support tickets 4 times without any word or assistance. They have effectively scammed me out of my money and are refusing to get into contact as to what's going on.

Consumer Complaint: I have an account with Coinbase Inc a crypto currency exchange company. I sold my crypto currency coins and converted to USD cash, the amount of the transaction came out to {$19000.00}. This money, my money, has been sitting in my account since XXXX I have asked Coinbase to transfer the total amount back into my checking account they have yet to do so despite my repeated requests to do do. Attached are several email responses from Coinbase to my requests to transfer my money ; Case # XXXX XXXX Hello XXXX, Thanks for contacting Coinbase Support. We've reviewed your Coinbase account and determined that you're no longer eligible to use the Coinbase platform. This includes purchasing cryptocurrency, depositing into Coinbase, sending cryptocurrency off of Coinbase, and linking new payment methods. You can sell any cryptocurrency you currently have on Coinbase, and once the funds are available, you XXXX withdraw them to your linked bank account. We're not able to provide you with any additional information at this time. They finally unlocked my account but told me I could no longer buy or sell crypto currency. At that point I sold my coins and now I'm being prevented from access to my cash. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me this company is causing me to lose sleep and I'm getting ill over all of this.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to enabled my Base coin account although I disabled it by mistake, But the only thing they let me do is to sign in, but for some reason it keeps kicking me out because it will no longer excepts my ID for verification purposes, So i am back from the beginning to get back into my Base coin account, I did this over and over again and tried through my app on my phone also, They tell me there is an issue and that my founds are safe, do not attempt to try app again on my cell phone, I have yet to retrieve my account from these people with my funds still in there! ... And have not heard back from them from the last response that i wrote to them through my email!
