As Im looking at my receipt, the numbers changed. 2 ) {$420.00} converted into XXXX of XXXX ( {$12.00} above stock XXXX I then get my emailed receipt of the transaction, which has even different information. 3 ) {$380.00} converted into XXXX worth of XXXX. ( With no mention of price of stock ) 4 ) I go back to Coinbase app, and the receipt of the transaction changed yet again. {$240.00} converted into XXXX of XXXX stock @ $ XXXX/stock. ( {$1.00} above price? ) With every new receipt that popped up, my profit ratio shrank. All have the same date, time, and reference #. It can not be legal for Coinbase to tamper, alter, and ultimately steal money like this can they? Also XXXX you can do your own research on XXXX and see the thousands of XXXX pages dedicated to 2 times CB conveniently at the same time as Coinbase market dipped further than ever, They would NOT allow me/thousands of others to make any purchases, only sales. ( And then wouldnt allow us to sell when the market spikes but allows purchases ) The excuse that pops up is insufficient funds. This is false. The random issue only lasts until the market is back where I made my original investment, usually at a loss. I did this to somebody Id be in jail. How can they keep getting away with transparently controlling the market, stealing our money, and ALTERING TRANSACTION RECEIPTS!?

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 I attempted to make a deposit of {$1400.00} into my Coinbase account from a bank account that I had closed but had forgotten to remove from my account. XX/XX/2021 I received notification that my deposit was denied due to lack of funds. I was informed I had 5 business days to fix this before they would liquidate the cryptocurrency positions that I had made with the money the loaned me reclaim it. ( Coinbase " lends '' you the money pending the completion of your ACH deposit, so you don't have to sit around waiting for the cash to arrive, you can dive right in and generate commissions for them. ) Embarrassed, that I chose the wrong bank, I immediately fixed it. Again, I ddi this on at was on XX/XX/2021 There was a link in the email that said " Deposit Funds '', so I made a deposit of equivalent size from an open bank account {$1400.00}. Coinbase sent an email to me on XX/XX/2021 telling me that the account recovery was complete and they unfroze my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, they sent me another email telling me about the failed deposit on the XXXX and that they were going to take the money from my account. This is after I repaid them and they unfroze my account. Also on XX/XX/XXXX, they took all of my cryptocurrency from my account.. All of it. I understand that they had a right to retrieve funds - but I made a " good '' deposit to cover the " bad '' deposit the next day. Furthermore, somebody made a mistake and they actually admitted it in an email. " oh yeah, i see the deposit from XX/XX/XXXX right here '' They do not answer their customer support number. They do not make outbound calls. They do not respond to emails with anything except copied and pasted responses which do not address your issue. Basically they pull up the drawbridge and ignore the peasants. I filed an internal complaint about this with them on XX/XX/2021 and according to their terms and conditions they were supposed to get back to me within 20 business days. They haven't done this. They said my case is still pending. Of course, that is because they have been stealing from a lot of other customers as well. There is a backlog of fraud at coinbase. The facts are in my bank accounts and even in my coinbase account it shows that I repaid them the money the same day, and they still stole the money out of my account. In their terms and conditions it states that by using their site I waive my right to sue them and have to use binding arbitration. I can only request binding arbitration AFTER they review my complaint with their internal review. They have had my complaint for a month and there is no end in site. There is no idea how long that will take. Finally, I am not the only victim of this. The Internet has dozens of similar complaints from people.

Coinbase responded to that complaint claiming that they did provid me with specific instructions in a new case ( Case # XXXX ) to regain access to my account, while in reality they are still closing all my tickets that i send to the support ... i'm requesting help and beggin them cause i really need those money as soon as possible, but they still just ignore my case, and taking over my account and my money that is leagaly mine by all means!

Consumer Complaint: I'm not sure which are all involved but Coinbase, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX are all involved in my situation. I've had over {$74000.00} on the Coinbase exchange. On XX/XX/21, according to XXXX XXXX, someone did a remote sim swap on my phone on XX/XX/21 at XXXX. Which i had my phone with me and the sim card was in it. When i got home i went to check my account and it said no service. thats when my wife called XXXX XXXX and was given the sim swap info. Which we don't know how they would get through the security questions to do this and the PIN number. Coinbase doesn't have live support and through email they told me they can't reverse a transaction. Thats all i've gotten out of them. I lost over $ XXXX and I filled a local police report out to XXXX XXXX Police Department in Florida, case # XXXX. FBI said they wont help because its not over $ XXXX. We cant get anyone to help us with this or point us in the right direction. I did some research and found out XXXX had information leaked that involved Coinbase information which would make sense that they knew i had crypto, but still doesn't explain how they got through XXXX XXXX and the Pin # and how they knew my SIM card number to swap. We are lost for words, no help, XX/XX/XXXX to our stomach and being lead in circles. I can send screenshots on request.

Consumer Complaint: I invested in Stellar Lumen ( SL ) using the Coinbase app on XX/XX/XXXX. Just as SL started to take off they locked my account for no reason in XX/XX/XXXX. I have filed multiple complaints and multiple cases but they reply they will get resolve it in 10 days or that I asked them to lock the account ( I did not ). It has been months and today my account should be worth {$22000.00} which I can not access or remove from their platform. It hasn't just been me, XXXX has a multitude of complaints with the same story. I just want to transfer to a trustworthy platform and get away from Coinbase. There is no phone number to call. The only number they have is XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX which is ONLY for their card customers. If you aren't in their system with a card, you are disconnected. There is no email address other than XXXX which constantly puts you off or tells you the case is closed. I complained to the Securities and Exchange Commission and they directed me to you.

Consumer Complaint: I used Coinbase to trade XXXX, my account was hacked and all the money was gone. Hackers started to take money from my Coinbase account during the night while I was sleeping. When I woke up and checked my account, money was gone, so I tried to get hold of Coinbase which has no custormer service available, all you can do is to send a message online and get a ticket number from them. Then I started to search for Coinbase Hacked Accounts, and I was suprised by the number of people who had the accounts hacked, even more surprised when I found that that Coinbase has not assisted or refunded anybody, all that customers can get are bot messages, thats it! At this point, after reading so many cases, I dont even believe that Coinbase will refund the money hacked, I just hope that more and more victims can continue to report their cases so eventually Coinbase can be held reaponsable for many losses, including mine.
